Ranking NFL teams by oldest to newest practice facilities

The Cincinnati Bengals’ outdoor training facilities. Prior to the opening of their new indoor facilities in 2022.
The Cincinnati Bengals faced plenty of criticism over the years for being the only northern NFL team without an indoor practice facility. Even an Ohio high school football team trained indoors in a $3 million complex.
So, when the Bengals unveiled their plans for a new indoor facility last August, the reactions were unanimous. Finally, after No. 1 pick Joe Burrow took over in 2020 and led the team out of a five-year playoff drought, owner Mike Brown had invested in new training digs. In October, the team practiced in the bubble for the first time, and in January, the team advanced to the AFC Championship Game.
That got us thinking: While many facilities go through specific renovations over years, which other NFL invested in brand new facilities? And does that have any bearing on their on-field success?
We ranked teams by those with the oldest practice facilities and those with the newest. The teams that are not listed opened their facilities sometime after 2000 and before 2020. Three teams — the Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams — practice in facilities not owned by the team, though the Rams plan to move into a new venue in 2024.
So, NFL fans, who’s next in line for investment?
