U.S. Open 2026 Women’s Singles Odds, Futures, Predictions & Best Bets
Not unlike on the men’s side, the women’s U.S. Open singles title appears to be relatively up for grabs. After all, there is no dominant player in the game right now. Aryna Sabalenka is the world #1 and defending champion, but she has lost prior to the quarterfinals in her last three events and has not advanced to a final since winning the Miami Open back in March. Elena Rybakina is in good form and can clinch the #1 ranking by reaching the semis in New York City, but she is dealing with an ankle injury that she sustained in Cincinnati.
Who will walk through what could be an open door? Let’s take a look at the U.S. Open outright odds and discuss some of the best bets to make in the women's singles tournament. You can also get my US Open men's singles best bets, which features a longshot pick at +6600 odds!

U.S. Open Women's Singles Best Bet: Coco Gauff to win the U.S. Open (+500)
While several other top contenders have been stumbling and bumbling through the summer months, Gauff is in outstanding form. The 22-year-old American’s three most recent results are a semifinal at Wimbledon, a semifinal at the WTA Toronto 1000 and a title in Cincinnati. Relatively speaking, her serving woes seem to be a thing of the past.
That’s not to say that Gauff probably won’t be among the tournament leaders in double-faults at the U.S. Open, but it may not be enough to offset her baseline game – which is without question the best in the world right now. Gauff won this event in 2023 and has a great chance to do it again.
U.S. Open Women's Singles Prediction: Elina Svitolina to win the U.S. Open (+1500)
The draw is always a crucial factor when placing futures bets, and both Gauff and Svitolina have good ones. Gauff would not face Swiatek until the semis and Sabalenka until the final. Svitolina is on the other side, and she would not run into Sabalenka until the semis and either Gauff or Swiatek until the championship match.
The 31-year-old Ukrainian is playing the best tennis of her career, coming in at #9 in the world. She also loves the big stage, having reached a whopping seven Grand Slam quarterfinals dating back to the 2023 French Open, including two semifinals. Svitolina also advanced to the U.S. Open semis in 2019.
U.S. Open Women's Singles Longshot Pick: Marta Kostyuk to win the U.S. Open (+3500)
With Sabalenka in a slump and Rybakina likely not 100 percent physically, longshots are worth a look to an even greater extent than usual. That’s why Svitolina is an enticing choice, and I’m staying on the Ukraine train to also back Kostyuk.
The 24-year-old is an amazing 27-4 in her last 31 matches dating back to the start of the clay-court swing. During this stretch, her only losses are to the eventual Roland Garros champ (Andreeva), the eventual Wimbledon champ (Linda Noskova), the eventual Toronto champ (Swiatek) and the eventual Cincinnati champ (Gauff). Yes, in Kostyuk’s last six starts she has either won the title or lost to the eventual winner.
