They will carry that streak on the road to LA to play the defending World Series champions in the Dodgers this weekend. Unlike the Cubs, the Dodgers have displayed some mortality lately, dropping 4 of their last 6 games against Colorado and San Francisco. 

This will be the first meeting between these teams this season, as Jameson Taillon takes the hill for the Cubs while Emmet Sheehan gets the nod for the Dodgers. Taillon’s first and most recent outings were solid, allowing just 1 run in 10.2 innings combined, but the 2 starts in between were worrisome considering he allowed 9 earned runs on 13 hits combined against the Rays and Pirates.
