Chicago White Sox vs Minnesota Twins Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 06/01/26

There aren’t many people who would have predicted that going into the month of June, the Chicago White Sox would be five games over .500, and just a game out of first place in the American League Central, while the Minnesota Twins would be six games under .500, but that’s where we are. The Twins part isn’t actually that surprising, although a minus-21 run differential is a bit shocking. And, the White Sox have a plus-8 run differential, which is even better than the first-place Cleveland Guardians. While Chicago has showed out, it is still just 12-16 on the road, so there is work to be done.

These teams meet for the second series of the season. Chicago won three of the first four meetings at Rate Field from May 25-28, outscoring the Twins 27-10, while the Over has cashed in each of the past three meetings. RHP David Sandlin gets the ball for Chicago, and he allowed just a single solo home run for his only hit given up across six innings in a win in his MLB debut on May 27. He’ll be opposed by RHP Joe Ryan, who is 2-2 with a 2.15 ERA across 29 1/3 IP with seven earned runs, six walks and 36 strikeouts, while teams are hitting just .187 against him. As such, we’ll go low on the total in this series opener in the Twin Cities.
