Money Line Pick
CIN Reds Win(-140)

After both teams enjoyed an off day on Monday, the Nationals and Reds are set to begin a 3-game series on Tuesday night at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The Reds are working their way through a rough patch, but things may be back on the upswing. The Reds dropped 8 games in a row to begin the month of May, but they enter this contest coming off back-to-back wins over the Astros. They’ll hand the ball to Brady Singer in this one, and he has been far more effective at home than on the road. Singer owns a massive 7.04 ERA through 5 road starts, but that number drops to a respectable 3.52 when pitching at GABP. He’s allowed just 3 earned runs over his last 2 starts and 11.1 innings of work at home, which should give him some confidence heading into this one.

On the other side, Washington will send Miles Mikolas to the mound. The 37-year-old right-hander is off to a rough start in his first season in the nation’s capital, as he enters this matchup sporting an ERA of 7.44 and a WHIP of 1.53. Mikolas is quite familiar with Great American Ball Park from his time in the NL Central with the Cardinals, but the Cincinnati stadium hasn’t exactly been kind to him. Mikolas is 3-4 with a 5.25 ERA in 9 career starts at GABP, and he seems to have a tough assignment on his hands. Playing at home, back the Reds on the moneyline.
