Best CFB player prop for the Week 4 slate: Doege goes Wild
Saturdays are made for football and one of the best times of my week is the Saturday night slot. This week ABC is going to Norman, Oklahoma to bring us the West Virginia Mountaineers and Oklahoma Sooners. Kickoff is at 7:30pm ET which makes it perfect for gambling. I couldn’t imagine not betting this game and after seeing the CFB player props, I couldn’t imagine not having this bet on my card. It’s glorious.
On top of this article, you should definitely check out our CFB experts’ picks for the action today. It’s just a smart thing to do. Also, bets can be added to the card, so why not follow me on Twitter in case we get some last-second action? Once lineups are announced for some of these games, there is a chance for opportunity to knock.
Jarrett Doege over 251.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Line available at DraftKings at time of publishing.
DraftKings is the only book I know of that puts out CFB player props on Fridays. They are the absolute leader in this market and there really is no reason to look anywhere else at the moment. I’ll check FanDuel and BetMGM Saturday morning but by then this line should be much higher.
Jarrett Doege is a good quarterback. He along with Leddie Brown are the reason the Mountaineers knocked off the Virginia Tech Hokies last week. West Virginia is coming into this one as 17-point underdogs so Doege is likely to be busy for the entire night. He’s gone over 251.5 passing yards in 2 of the 3 games he’s played so far so his form is good. Now we just need a good game script.
Doege has the perfect opponent Saturday night in the Oklahoma Sooners. They are a team that should put up a few points but they’ll also give up a few. Michael Pratt of Tulane and Adrian Martinez of Nebraska both came within 11 yards of a 300-yard game. If this game plays out even remotely similarly, Doege will do the same and cash this CFB player prop.
