Today is a special day. It’s a day that when it’s over, we’ll be proud to say we lived it. The reason why is MLB player props. There are two today that I absolutely love. Both are night games so if you are looking for something a little earlier, this won’t help. But, if you just stay patient, I think good things will happen with these two bets. As a bonus, the second bet is on ESPN so we’ll all be able to watch. That’s tough to beat.

Casey Mize over 4.5 strikeouts (-125)

We have to do a little line shopping today but I picked this one up at DraftKings at over 4.5 -125. That’s a great deal in my opinion. BetMGM has this at over 5.5 +120 which is not bad, but with Mize, it feels right to just take the more reachable number.
If you have been following, you know already that Mize is our guy. Us K-guys have been all over this dude for a bit now and he has not disappointed. He’s gone over this number in each of his last four starts and he seems to only be getting stronger. He’s gone at least six innings in six of his last seven starts so he’s out there.
Tonight he’s getting a Seattle Mariner team that is striking out an average of ten times a game over the last seven days. Teams are not striking out as much lately but it’s nice to see the Mariners still doing it for us. Mize sat down seven Mariners in his May 17 start against them, so he has proved himself against them.
This is one of my favorite MLB player props for today.

Brad Keller over 4.5 strikeouts (+100)

We will get to watch this one happen as it’s on ESPN at 9:38pm ET. It’s being offered at DraftKings for -110 so I went with BetMGM at +100. You gotta watch your pennies in this game we play. It’s just the way things are done.
Brad Keller is fun to back simply because he’s 6’5″ and 250 pounds. He’s like that big kid in little league that you hated facing because he could kill you if he hit you with a pitch. The good thing for us tonight is, Keller isn’t too wild and he is unlikely to kill anyone tonight. He’s gone over 4.5 strikeouts in five of his last six starts so there is that.
Tonight he sees an Angels team that has struck out more than any team in MLB over the last week. That’s just a fact. Royals pitchers got them 11 times last night. Justin Upton, Max Stassi and Taylor Ward are all multi-strikeout targets if they are in the lineup. Keller should get home on this number and it’s coming at even money.
