Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

Clint Capela double-double and Atlanta Hawks to win (-114)

The Atlanta Hawks are looking to clinch the No. 9 seed or better today against the Houston Rockets. After a disappointing start to the season, the Hawks are 7-3 in their last 10 games and looking to stay hot going into the play-in tournament.
Today, let’s dive into why I am backing Hawks center Clint Capela. Capela is averaging 11 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. He has recorded a double-double in 34/73 games and gets a soft matchup against the tanking Rockets. The Rockets have shut down Christian Wood for the season, and centers have feasted against them. In their last 5 games, Pascal Siakam, Andre Drummond, Karl-Anthony Towns, Damian Jones, and Chimezie Metu all recorded double-doubles on their way to wins.
Unless Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. have sensational games, I do not see the Rockets being able to win or stopping Capela from securing a double-double.
