KBO picks and predictions

Tuesday’s four-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

NC Dinos Money Line (-128)

Classic spot here as we will look to fade a horrible pitcher. That being Hyun-shik Jang for the Kia Tigers. Jang has an ERA of 9.49 this season with a record of 4-3. The weird part is that he almost only comes out of the bullpen an only has one start this entire season. It was not a great start either, allowing four runs over 2.1 innings. Against the Dinos, he has allowed four runs over 2.0 innings, so while it is a small sample size, he has struggled against them.

Myung-gi Song will start for the Dinos and he is 7-3 with an ERA of 3.99. Over his last four starts, he has allowed just seven runs over 21.0 innings. In four appearances against the Tigers, Song has allowed six runs over 16.2 innings.

KT Wiz Money Line (-134)

Starting with the visiting Twins, they will plan to start Chan-gyu Lim, who is an even 9-9 this season with an ERA of 4.00. His last five starts have been almost on par with how his season has gone, allowing 13 runs over his last 28.1 innings.

On the other side will be Je-seong Bae for the KT Wiz. He has a record of 9-5 this year with a similar ERA of 4.09. His last five starts have been much better, seeing that he has allowed just five runs over his last 26.1 innings.

This season series has been extremely tight with the Twins having a slight edge. However, the KT Wiz clearly have the pitching advantage here based on their recent numbers, so I am going to back them here to win this game.

Samsung Lions/SK Wyverns Under 10.5 Runs (-130)

Even though we have the Wyverns involved in this game, we are going to look for a lack of scoring. The Wyverns will start Young-woo Jo, who is 2-3 on the season with an ERA of 5.50. However, his last six starts have looked much better, allowing 13 runs over his last 29.2 innings. He also has been decent against the Lions, posting an ERA of 3.65 when facing them.

The Lions will turn to Chae-hueng Choi, who is 9-6 with an ERA of 3.69. Over the same six game stretch, Choi has allowed 12 runs over 39.2 innings. This also includes a complete game shutout. He has also fared well against the Wyverns, posting an ERA of 3.44. The under is 11-4 in their 15 meetings this year, so I will look for another low scoring game here as well.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +450.
