La Liga Betting Picks: Three-Team Parlay Pays +452

Sergio Canales Real Betis

The Seville Derby will kick things off on Thursday afternoon with Sevilla hosting Real Betis at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium. This will mark the first day of 15 straight days of La Liga action.

We have some trends and stats from the German Bundesliga’s return, which we can learn from and try to find value in the first slate of La Liga’s return.

Let’s get into my favorite three-team parlay for this weekend, paying +452.

Celta Vigo +155

  • Celta Vigo have lost only one of their last nine La Liga games
  • Villarreal have won only one of their previous five league encounters
  • Celta Vigo recorded a 3-1 win at Villarreal earlier in the season

Celta Vigo sits one point above the relegation zone and will be fighting for their lives to get three points against Villarreal, who are sitting in 8th. Villarreal are seven points off European places and are realistically not playing for anything, so expect their motivation to be low and Celta Vigo to record another victory over The Yellow Submarine.

Real Sociedad -140

  • Real Sociedad has won 10 of their last 12 matches in all competitions.
  • Osasuna has lost three of their last four away games.
  • Real Sociedad have won their last seven home games.

Real Sociedad has already beaten Osasuna twice this season (4-3 in the league, 3-1 in the cup) and are fighting for a top-four place, which will secure them Champions League action next season. Much like Villarreal, Osasuna is firmly mid-table and have little to play for. I expect Sociedad to make it a hat-trick of wins over Osasuna on Sunday.

Barcelona -380

  • Barcelona has won their last six meetings with Mallorca, scoring 24 goals in the process.
  • Mallorca has lost four of their last six La Liga home games.

This pick is self-explanatory, but it boosts the parlay odds up nicely to +452, which isn’t bad for three teams. Barcelona sits top of the league table while Mallorca sits in the relegation zone. We’ve seen from the Bundesliga that the bigger teams tend to get the job done and roll the smaller sides. Better players have had a higher level of form coming back into action after months off in Germany. Whether it’s down to their ability, training facilities, preparation, or a combination of all three, expect Messi and Co to get the job done.
