A full 15-game schedule is on the docket for Friday as the week in Major League Baseball continues. It includes a showdown between the 2 teams that are currently the best in the entire league, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Texas Rangers. As if that isn’t enough, another rivalry series between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees gets underway.

Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Diamondbacks -1.5 (+116)

Astros -1.5 (+150)

Marlins ML (+125)

MLB parlay odds: +1115

For this parlay we are going with 2 favorites on the run line and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Diamondbacks -1.5 over Tigers (+116)

These teams are on opposite tracks lately; Tigers have lost 6 in a row, while the Diamondbacks have won 8 of their last 10 and lead the National League West. Even better news for Arizona is that Merrill Kelly will take the mound on Friday. He is 7-3 with a 2.80 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP. The right-hander is now tasked with shutting down a Tigers lineup that has been cold of late. Detroit has scored only 8 runs during its 6-game losing streak and was nearly no-hit yesterday. The Tigers are dead last in the MLB in batting average and have 18 fewer runs than the next-worst team in that department. On the other side, Arizona ranks 6th in the league in runs scored and is dangerous from any part of the lineup. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the D-Backs win by multiple runs.

Astros -1.5 over Guardians (+150)

The Astros are starting Cristian Javier and that usually ends up in a very good result. He has posted all-star-like numbers with a 7-1 record, 2.84 ERA and 72 strikeouts across 69.2 innings with a stellar 0.99 WHIP. The team hasn’t missed Justin Verlander, as Javier has now assumed the role of ace in Houston. As for Cleveland, it has won 4 of its last 5 games but is just 3-7 in the last 10 series openers. The Guardians haven’t stacked wins, either, going 6-14 in their last 20 games following a victory. They are countering with left-hander Logan Allen, who is in good form but doesn’t necessarily have a good matchup with Houston. The Astros are 40-11 in their previous 51 against lefties. Of course, the Astros are good against pretty much everyone – and I expect them to be too good for the Guardians on Friday.

Marlins ML over White Sox (+125)

The Marlins are sending top prospect Eury Perez to the mound, and he has been impressive so far this season with a 3-1 record, 2.25 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. Ranking above average in various percentiles such as xBA (62nd), K% (56th) and whiff% (83rd), Perez has shown that he has the pure talent to perform at an elite level. Meanwhile, Chicago’s lineup finds itself in the lower end of almost every major batting statistical category. With the White Sox batting average coming in 20th in the league, OBP 29th, SLG % 23rd and OPS 25th, Perez should be able to put together another strong outing. Chicago is starting Dylan Cease, who has more than doubled his ERA from last season. Look for Miami to keep on rolling.
