MLB Monday four-team mega parlay (+2085): Giants to plow Angels

Johnny Cueto MLB parlay

We’ve got baseball, baseball and more baseball today. It’s Monday, but the board looks like that of a Sunday. The action starts fast and furious just like a Sunday but there is still a little left over for the evening, which is glorious. What’s even better, ESPN has a triple-header lined up so we can watch our bets. What a world. Starting at 1:05pm ET, we’re getting the Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles. At 4:10pm ET, we’ve got the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros. Then at 8:10pm ET, just when things are starting to settle down from our Memorial Day celebrations, the mothership is showing the Pittsburgh Pirates and Kansas City Royals. I don’t know about you, but this day has MLB parlay written all over it!

San Francisco Giants -1.5 (+128)

Kansas City Royals -1.5 (+100)

Oakland Athletics -1.5 (+126)

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+112)

Parlay odds: +2085

San Francisco Giants -1.5 over Los Angeles Angels (+128)

I’ve been saying this for weeks, the San Francisco Giants might actually be good. They just took three of four from the Los Angeles Dodgers and now they get Dylan Bundy. Not to be mean about Bundy but he has been terrible lately. Like 17 earned runs in his last 9.2 innings pitched terrible. The Giants have been winning with pitching and their bats lately so this seems like a good spot for their bats to keep raking. They’re top five in OPS over the last 15 days. If that happens, they should run away from Bundy and the Angels today.

Kansas City Royals -1.5 over Pittsburgh Pirates (+100)

There is only one team in MLB that has been worse in OPS this season than the Pittsburgh Pirates and that’s the Seattle Mariners. They may have just looked good against the Colorado Rockies but that’s a mirage. This is a team that can’t hit and they are sending Chad Kuhl to the mound for the first time since April. Kuhl has a FIP in the 8s. If you don’t know what that means, it’s bad. Really bad. Like you don’t see many MLB starters with that bad. Kuhl has walked more guys than he’s struck out this season and the Royals should smash him.

Oakland Athletics -1.5 over Seattle Mariners (+126)

Here is the problem with the Seattle Mariners. They can’t hit. On the season, they have a pathetic .644 OPS which is worst in MLB. Somehow they’ve won six of their last seven games which has to stop at some point. It’s math. And science. I think it stops today against James Kaprielian. In Kaprielian’s three starts this season, the Athletics have won each by at least three runs. Coincidentally enough, one of those starts was the only Mariners’ loss in the last seven games. I think the Athletics get it done again today.

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 over St Louis Cardinals (+112)

Everybody is going to say that Jack Flaherty is on the bump so this is a bad pick. I get that and I know Flaherty is 8-1 on the season but he hasn’t pitched against anyone this season. Of all of his starts, only two have been against teams above .500. One of those teams was the White Sox, who made quick work of him last time out. Flaherty didn’t even get four innings in the book before getting the hook. I don’t think he’s bad but I do think the Dodgers can get to him today and that Trevor Bauer will be good enough to keep the Cardinals bats at bay.
