There are only 3 NBA games this Tuesday, but the folks at TNT have a huge doubleheader coming our way. LeBron James heads to Cleveland to face his old team for the second and final time this season and tip-off is set for 7:30 pm ET on TNT. I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay in hopes of landing another one following Sunday’s NBA SGP win.

As always you can find our picks on the side and total for all 3 games tonight in our NBA predictions. Let’s dive in!

LeBron James to record 8+ assists (+210)

Lonnie Walker over 1.5 made threes (-180)

Darius Garland over 2.5 made threes (+102)

Same Game Parlay odds: +809

LeBron James to record 8+ assists (+210)

The last time he was in Cleveland, LeBron James finished with a triple-double of 38 points, 10 boards and 12 assists, setting up his teammates all night in a 131-120 win for LA. With the way the Lakers have been playing lately, I am expecting a similar type of score in tonight’s game, so James should make the most out of the fast tempo of this game. He’s no longer the offensive threat he used to be in his prime, but LeBron can still get his numbers when he chooses to. Right now he’s chasing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time scoring record, but the Lakers have bigger priorities as a group and that is to make the postseason.

Their best chance of winning tonight is for LeBron to facilitate on offense and get his teammates involved early. The Lakers are averaging 130.3 points per game in their last 3 wins, with James getting 6, 11 and 8 assists during the winning streak. The 11 dimes were against Milwaukee, a team that plays in a similar style to the Cavaliers. Hopefully it’s another productive night for King James.

Lonnie Walker over 1.5 made threes (-180)

One of the players who has contributed a lot during the last 9 games for the Lakers has been Lonnie Walker IV. He is averaging 17.8 points per game on rally solid efficiency for a guard. His averages are 51.3% from the field and a whopping 46.9% from 3-point land. In 2 games in December he’s averaging 3 threes made on 66% efficiency, while over his last 13 games dating back to the start of November, he’s been able to clear this line a total of 10 times.

Those odds are pretty solid if you ask me and against a Cavaliers side that’s allowing 35.4% of threes made this season (14th in the NBA), he should have no issues getting to a pair of threes. He didn’t have the best of games in the first meeting of the season finishing with just 6 points, so it should be redemption time in tonight’s game.

Darius Garland over 2.5 made threes (+102)

It was a debate between Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland for the final leg of this Same Game Parlay, in the end I settled for Garland simply because of the way Mitchell went ice cold in the Knicks game on Sunday. Both of them are streaky shooters at times, but opposing defenses are way more focused on stopping Mitchell who, let’s face it, is a bigger name on the scouting report than the 22-year old Garland. That won’t discourage the point guard from shooting, though. He’s knocked down 3 threes in 2 of his last 3 games, and in 15 games played last month he averaged 3.1 makes on 42.2% efficiency.

He also loves playing the Lakers, In 2 of the last 3 meetings he’s knocked down 3 threes. Both he and Mitchell have to respond after Sunday’s debacle at MSG, so I’m expecting a big offensive output from Garland.
