NBA Monday Same Game Parlay (+1347 odds): Portland Trail Blazers vs. Denver Nuggets

Damian Lillard Blazers vs Nuggets

With only two NBA games tonight, we’re going to need to step it up a little action-wise. There is only so much we can do but luckily enough, FanDuel has the same-game parlay option. They come in handy on nights like tonight when you just need that little bit of added action. I like to deploy them in the late games and tonight’s Trail Blazers/Nuggets game is perfect in every way. I think it could be high-scoring and the numbers could be consolidated to a handful of guys. Here are a few options I found.

Michael Porter Jr to record 4+ made threes (+132)

One thing that was very noticeable in game one was that Michael Porter Jr has the green light to shoot. The second-year man took 21 shots on the night as he led the Nuggets in minutes played. Shooters shoot and that’s what Porter Jr did. Of those 21 shots, ten of them came from behind the three-point line. Though he hit only one, there is reason to believe that low conversion rate was a fluke. On the season, Porter Jr took double-digit three-point attempts six times and failed to hit at least four only once. I would expect him to come near that ten-attempt mark tonight and when he does, he should can at least four of them.

Michael Porter Jr to record 30+ points (+250)

Porter Jr went 1-10 from three-point land and still managed to score 25 points in Game 1. He should be relied upon heavily again tonight in what has to be viewed as a “must-win” for the Nuggets. It’s not crazy to think he will shoot 20+ times again tonight. If we are already betting him to hit at least four threes, then why not 30+ points as well? In the two previous games where Porter Jr took at least 18 shots, he went over 30 points each time. At +250, the price is right to add this to the parlay.

Damian Lillard to record 35+ points (+260)

Although Lillard has gone over 30 points in eight of his last nine games, he has topped 35 in only two of them. Still, +260 is a very good price given that he is climbing right up to this number seemingly every night. What was encouraging was the fact that he took 25 shots in the last game and it didn’t even look like too much. The Nuggets don’t have anyone that can come close to guarding Dame and he knows it. Lillard has a 40+ outing or two in him during this series and if he takes 25+ shots again tonight, it could come tonight. We need only 35+ at +260. Sign me up.
