This week’s NBA action continues with a 3-game slate coming our way on Saturday. The highlight is in the Bay Area, as the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Dallas Mavericks. I’ve included that game in this mega parlay, along with two other picks. Head over to our NBA predictions for picks on the spread and total for every game on the board, but for now, let’s jump into our NBA mega parlay.

Memphis Grizzlies -7 (-110)

Cleveland Cavaliers -5 (-105)

Houston Rockets ML (+135)

Parlay odds: +775

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Memphis Grizzlies -7 (-110) over Oklahoma City Thunder

It wasn’t a given that the Grizzlies were going to take another step forward this year after last season’s breakout campaign. However, this Memphis team has found another gear of late, winning 7 straight games and dominating opponents in the process. The Grizzlies now sit at the top of the Western Conference with a 19-9 record and clearly have their minds set on a Western Conference Finals appearance. On the other side, the same can’t be said of the Thunder, who have seriously regressed in recent games. Oklahoma City has dropped 4 straight and looks to be trending toward the bottom of the Western Conference. This team lost by 21 to Memphis on December 7 and I don’t expect things to change much in this meeting. Memphis should roll.

Cleveland Cavaliers -4 (-105) over Dallas Mavericks

The Cavaliers have established themselves as a contender in the Eastern Conference and it all starts with their dominance at home. When playing in Cleveland, the Cavs are 13-2 and winners of 9 straight on their home floor. Cleveland is a top-10 offense per most metrics and the Cavaliers also have the top defensive rating in the league through the first third of the season. Now, they’ll have a challenge in taking on Luka Doncic and a bevy of shooters as part of a top-10 Mavericks offense. However, Dallas will have to play this game as the second of a back-to-back with the Trail Blazers, a tough spot for an already below average road team. Given the travel and quick turnaround, I’ll back the Cavs to extend their home winning streak.

Houston Rockets ML (+135) over Portland Trail Blazers

Don’t look now, but the Houston Rockets are playing decent basketball. The Rockets are 5-5 in their last 10, a far cry from their awful 4-14 start to the season. Houston is abysmal on the road, coming in at 3-13 this season, good for the majority of their losses to this point. But the same can’t be said for a fairly pedestrian home record of 6-6, where their offense is averaging nearly 117 points per game over their last 5 games at the Toyota Center. On the other side, the Blazers are coming off a difficult loss in Dallas as part of a 3-game Texas road trip over 4 nights. This team can score with the best of them, but Portland is still 24th in defensive rating on the season. As a short home underdog, I’ll take a shot with Houston in this spot.
