I'm an NFL handicapper here at Pickswise who was raised in a household full of sports fanatics. Since I unfortunately never had LeBron James' jumping ability I wasn't able to make it to the NBA, and chose writing about sports as the next best thing. An avid sports bettor myself, I'm excited to get to write about the industry as it gets set to take off across the country. Buckle up. The NBA was off on Monday which meant all eyes were on the baseball slate, and the handicappers here at Pickswise delivered in a big way.

Whether you’re interested in the NBA playoffs, the quest for the Stanley Cup in the NHL, the MLB regular season, or Euro 2020 (or most likely all of the above!), we have you covered at Pickswise when it comes to making the best possible bets. And to start the week off, we absolutely crushed the eight-game baseball slate.

Pickswise experts went 7-1 on sides, 6-2 on totals, and we also cashed a mega parlay at +1148 odds. Let’s recap it all:

7-1 on sides

The Mets started things off right in the first game of their doubleheader, and it just kept rolling from there. We correctly picked multiple underdogs, including the Indians at +120, the Rangers at +115, and the Diamondbacks at +115.

It was almost a perfect 8-0 sweep, and would’ve been had the Reds not blown a 5-3 lead and lost in 12 innings. With the Astros money line cashing as well as the over 10 in Astros/Orioles, we hit both of our three-star MLB Best Bets. Our MLB Best Bets are now 9-3 over the last four days, and are an incredible 92-51 for the season.

6-2 on totals

We also hit every total except for two, the under 8.5 in A’s/Rangers and under 7 in Dodgers/Padres. There was one run too many in the Dodgers game. Most of the others we hit with ease with multiple run cushions. On Sunday we somehow went 13-2-1 on MLB totals, so this wasn’t just a one-day fluke either. Our totals picks are on absolute fire right now — 19-4-1 over the past two days. That’s money.

As you will see below, the good news didn’t stop there.

MLB mega parlay cashes at +1148 odds

Just when it looked like things couldn’t get any better, we also cashed our MLB mega parlay. We had three bets at plus-money, the Rangers and Diamondbacks on the money line, and Padres +160 on the -1.5 run line, to give us a +1148 mega parlay.

The Rangers won 8-3, the D-Backs won 5-1, and the Padres won 6-2, so we didn’t even have to sweat this huge winner too much. The night was a breeze from start to finish, and was one for the books. We’ve got another mega parlay on Tuesday at +1630 odds, so don’t miss out as we try to make it two days in a row!

What’s next?

We don’t think you’re going to want to miss our MLB picks on Tuesday. In addition to the aforementioned mega parlay, we’re also of course back with free picks on the side and total for all 15 games on Tuesday. Check them out on our ‘MLB Picks’ page.
