Aiemann Zahbi ML over Jose Aldo (+160)

The third fight on the Main Card at UFC 315 will see Jose Aldo take on Aiemann Zahbi. This will be a fight in the UFC Bantamweight division. Zahbi enters this fight with an MMA record of 12-2 and 6-2 in the UFC. He is averaging 4.06 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 46%. Zahbi is absorbing 4.06 strikes per minute and has a striking defense of 71%. His grappling has been non-existent, averaging 0.16 takedowns every 15 minutes. He has a takedown accuracy of 14% and a takedown defense of 83%.

While Aldo is the clear favorite, Zahbi looks to be a great option to pull the upset. Zahbi has the advantage in striking volume and has won 5 UFC fights in a row. As for Aldo, he has become inconsistent recently, going 4-5 in his last 9 UFC fights. Zahbi may not be a UFC veteran like Aldo, but his recent success makes backing him to win our lean.

Natalia Silva ML over Alexa Grasso (-250)

The second fight on the Main Card at UFC 315 will see Alexa Grasso take on Natalia Silva. This will be a fight in the UFC Women’s Flyweight division. Silva comes into this fight with an MMA record of 18-5-1 and 6-0 in the UFC. She is averaging 5.19 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 47%. Silva is absorbing 2.35 strikes and has a striking defense of 64%. Her grappling is not nearly as good, averaging just 0.40 takedowns every 15 minutes. Her takedown accuracy is 25%, and more importantly, her takedown defense is 91%.

Silva is the clear favorite, but still looks to be the best betting option. Not only is she undefeated in the UFC, but she also has the advantage in striking volume compared to Grasso. Neither Grasso nor Silva is a prolific grappler, but Silva has an elite takedown defense to help prevent any grappling Grasso might attempt. Therefore, given her quick success in the UFC, backing Silva to win will be our play.

Benoit Saint Denis vs. Kyle Prepolec – Over 1.5 Total Rounds (+145)

The first fight on the Main Card at UFC 315 will see Benoit Saint Denis take on Kyle Prepolec. This will be a fight in the UFC Lightweight division. Saint Denis is easily the biggest favorite on this card; therefore, we cannot back him on the money line. Instead, we will be looking for this fight to go over 1.5 total rounds. Saint Denis has seen 3 of his last 4 UFC fights go over 1.5 rounds, while Prepolec has seen his only 2 UFC fights go over 1.5 total rounds. Prepolec has not had success in the UFC so far, but has been able to avoid being finished early in both of his fights. For that reason, backing the over 1.5 total rounds will be our lean.
