About Last Night
Celtics remain at the top
The Celtics were put to the test on Wednesday night as they had to face the 76ers without 3 starter, but that didn’t stop Boston from winning 106-99. However, the big story is that Jaylen Brown suffered a facial fracture and will be sidelined indefinitely. Meanwhile, it was a great night for our handicappers as they went 11-7 on picks and we extended our props run to 10-4.
NBA Thursday trade updates
With the trade deadline at 3:00 pm ET today, there was a frenzy of trading last night. The most notable being the Lakers receiving D’Angelo Russell from the Minnesota Timberwolves as part of a three-team trade. As part of that trade, the Lakers sent Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz and the Timberwolves received Mike Conley from the Jazz.
Perfect night on the ice
Our NHL handicappers were red-hot last night as they went a perfect 3-0 on the slender 2-game slate, with the Rangers beating the Canucks in regulation and the Stars covering the puck line.

Fabulous 4-game NBA slate
It’s a very limited day in the association, as only 8 teams are taking the court on Thursday. But we do have a TNT doubleheader between the Bulls and Nets followed by the Bucks and Lakers. You can read all of today’s NBA predictions.

It was a small day in the NHL yesterday with only 2 games, and we return with 7 games on the ice tonight. With several marquee matchups, check out our NHL picks for today’s games.

It’s an action-packed day in college basketball as 5 top-25 teams are taking the court as part of a busy Thursday. Take a look at today’s college basketball predictions.
Best Bet of the Day
College basketball: Purdue -7.5 (-110) over Iowa

Purdue has lost just 2 games this season and 1 of those losses came in their last game where they lost to Indiana on the road. I do not see Purdue losing 2 games in a row, especially on their home court. Iowa’s offense will come ready to play Thursday night, but their defense will simply not be able to stop Purdue’s offense. According to KenPom, Iowa’s defense is ranked #156 in adjusted efficiency, #220 in effective field goal percentage, and #226 in two-point percentage. The Hawkeyes’ inability to defend two-point field goals and defensive rebounds effectively is very concerning for them in this game. Give me Purdue -7.5 in this one.
