Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another wonderful Wednesday of sports. Thanksgiving NFL action is almost here but in the meantime we have NBA, NHL and NCAAB today, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

  • Midweek MACtion concluded on Tuesday and our expert nailed our 3-star best bet as Bowling Green knocked off Western Michigan in decisive fashion. Eastern Michigan also qualified for a bowl game with a win over Buffalo on the road.
  • We had a jam-packed NBA slate on Tuesday, including a wild game between the Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks that finished with over 300 points scored! Elsewhere, the Cavaliers knocked off the 76ers in overtime and the Lakers demolished the Jazz on TNT.
  • There was more success in college basketball for our handicappers, where we cashed a winner on Purdue -3.5 against Tennessee. The Maui Invitational Final is now set for Wednesday as Purdue will take on Marquette in a battle between top-5 teams.

Today’s Slate

  • We’ve got plenty of NBA action on tap on Wednesday with a 14-game slate, including Bucks vs Celtics and Warriors vs Suns in an ESPN doubleheader. Read our NBA predictions.
  • There’s plenty of action on the college hardwood too, including the Maui Invitational with Purdue vs Marquette and Tennessee vs Kansas to headline the day’s proceedings. Read today’s college basketball predictions.
  • We’re back on the ice after a scheduled day off on Tuesday. There’s a full slate of games to enjoy so make sure you check out our NHL picks for all 14 games.

Best Bet of the Day

NHL: Arizona Coyotes ML over St. Louis Blues (-120)
9:00 pm ET, ESPN+

The Coyotes have been average on home ice this season, but they seemed to dominate it all of last season. They may have an edge here as the Blues are only 3-5-1 on the road. The Coyotes have a slight edge in goal production as they have been producing 3.11 goals for per game compared to the 2.71 per game that the Blues are producing. The Coyotes managed to put up six goals against the Blues in their first meeting this season, and I think we could see a similar outcome Wednesday night. When the Coyotes are playing their game, they are difficult to defend as all four of their lines are solid. They do not have any real superstars aside from Clayton Keller; however, they have four solid lines that can produce. They have the 6th-best powerplay in the league, so if they go on the man advantage, look for a good result. Check out our full Blues vs Coyotes predictions.
