Good morning Pickswise Nation and welcome to another great day of sports. We have NBA, NHL, college basketball and soccer action today, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

Perfect night on NBA totals
The Pickswise team picked all 4 NBA games to go under the posted total on Monday night and that’s exactly what happened! Jayson Tatum was ejected in the Celtics’ 109-94 loss to the Knicks which knocked Boston off the top spot in the NBA rankings, while the Heat beat the 76ers 101-99. The day’s big news was that LeBron James could be out of action for an extended period with the foot injury he sustained on Sunday.

Canucks outshine the Stars
There were some great matchups in the NHL on Monday, with the Bruins beating the Oilers 3-2, the Avalanche rolling to a 3-0 win over the Golden Knights and the Canucks beating the Stars 5-4 in overtime.

MLS success
#7 Baylor covered comfortably in a 74-68 win at Oklahoma State in Monday’s top college hoops game, while Pickswise closed out the first weekend of MLS action by cashing the Portland ML (-105) as the Timbers beat Sporting Kansas City 1-0. That gave us an 8-5 record on the opening slate.

Best Bet of the Day

NCAAB: Clemson Tigers +6.5 over Virginia Cavaliers
7:00 pm ET, ACCN

The Virginia Cavaliers (21-6, 13-5) seem to be broken right now. They have lost 2 straight and dropped out of the top spot in the ACC standings because of it. Before their back-to-back losses to Boston College and North Carolina, they had 2 concerning performances against ACC bottom-feeders Louisville and Notre Dame too. The Clemson Tigers (21-8, 13-5) come into this contest after scoring 90 points in back-to-back wins against Syracuse and NC State. Clemson has had its struggles on the road this season, but the Tigers have been solid as an underdog, covering 5 of 7 games. Read our full Clemson vs Virginia predictions.

You can bet on our Clemson vs Virginia pick over at Bet365, where you can get $200 in bonus bets by betting just $1! Click here to sign up for the world’s #1 sportsbook and take advantage of this can’t-miss offer.
