About Last Night

Grizzlies pull off huge comeback
The Grizzlies staged a crazy comeback in last night’s playoff game against the Timberwolves, winning 104-95 having trailed by 26 points at one stage. The Timberwolves hit -1000 odds to win the game with BetMGM, but lost the 4th quarter 37-12. The Mavericks upset the Jazz as 6-point underdogs in the second game, winning 126-118 to go 2-1 up in the series. The Warriors are on the brink of progressing, though, after going 3-0 up on the Nuggets with a 118-113 road win. We cashed our 3-star play of over 224 points in that game, while Ricky Dimon cashed a +500 first-basket pick of Donovan Mitchell.

Mets take series against Giants
The Mets continued their strong start to the season as a 6-2 home win over the Giants gave them a 3-1 series win and raised their record to 10-4. At the other end of the MLB standings, the Rangers snapped a 5-game losing streak with an 8-6 win at the Mariners.

Great night in NHL for Pickswise
The big Thursday NHL slate brought plenty of success for our handicappers, who went 8-3 on sides and 7-3-1 on the totals. The Panthers clinched the best record in the Eastern Conference, and the Atlantic Division title, with their 12th straight win, beating the Red Wings 5-2.

Best Bet of the Day

Milwaukee Bucks -2 vs Chicago Bulls
8:30 pm ET, ABC

The Bucks and Bulls head to Chicago with the series tied. While the Bulls have suddenly found some defense, they still have no answer for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Milwaukee is overdue for an offensive explosion to get to the 119-point average that they played to the final 10 games of the regular season, and they have been much better on the road this year against the number, going 23-18. They also covered in 6 of their last 8 on the road during the regular season. Read our full game preview for Bucks vs Bulls.
