About Last Night

Colts score crucial win over Jets on TNF
NFL Week 9 began with a bang as the Indianapolis Colts beat the New York Jets 45-30 on Thursday Night Football. The Jets lost starting QB Mike White in the first quarter with an arm injury, with Josh Johnson taking over. The Jets were not able to cover but our pick of over 46.5 points was never in doubt as the Colts almost cleared it on their own. Indianapolis (4-5) is +950 for the AFC South title with FanDuel Sportsbook with the 6-2 Tennessee Titans at -1500. Read what Ricky Dimon made of the Colts’ performance in our TNF reaction article.

NBA cappers in form
There were only 5 Thursday NBA games, but our handicappers made it pay, going 4-1 on sides and 3-2 on totals. One of those wins was the 2-6 Thunder beating the 5-4 Los Angeles Lakers for the second time this season as a 13-point underdog.

Hockey picks go 6-3 on Thursday
Our NHL team also made a profit on a 9-game Thursday slate, going 6-3. The Florida Panthers needed overtime to get past the Capitals 5-4, but their 9-0-1 start is their best ever 10-game start to a season.

Best Bet of the Day

Echo Zulu – Del Mar Race 7
6:30pm ET

Echo Zulu maintained her unbeaten record when registering a second win at the highest level in making all to take the Frizette Stakes over a mile at Belmont Park at the start of last month. She had previously taken out the seven-furlong Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga. The daughter of Gun Runner comes into this contest as one of the New York circuit’s biggest hopes and can maintain her unbeaten record following a 50.40 four-furlong work at this venue last weekend.
