Show Bio

Since graduating from Davidson (The College That Stephen Curry Built), I have been writing about sports -- just about any and all you can think of! -- and coaching tennis in Atlanta, GA. Beyond the four major sports, I am an avid tennis fan and cover the ATP Tour on a daily basis. If I'm not busy writing, you can generally find me on a tennis court or traveling the world wherever a sporting event takes me. For Ricky Dimon media enquiries, please email contact@pickswise.com.

The college football season is over, but the NFL playoffs are just three days away. We also have plenty of basketball, hockey and soccer action on Wednesday’s sports menu, so there is a lot to discuss.

As such, let’s not waste any time and get right to making your next bet better with our latest installment of Wise n’ Shine!

About Last Night

Grizzlies upset Warriors, cash same game parlay
Both the Grizzlies and Pickswise were big winners on Tuesday. Ja Morant and company upset the Warriors as +125 underdogs and our +900 same game parlay of Grizzlies 1-10 win margin, Morant over 25.5 points and Andrew Wiggins under 16.5 points was successful.

College basketball: 2-0 on best bets and a parlay winner
Penn State -3 over Rutgers and Texas A&M -4.5 over Ole Miss were our two best bets on Tuesday. The Nittany Lions won by 17 and the Aggies dominated by 16. We also cashed a +349 rivalry-game parlay with Texas covering -6.5 against Oklahoma and Auburn beating Alabama as a +135 underdog.

NHL completes spectacular night of handicapping
Our NHL experts went 5-2 ML/PL and 5-2 O/U in seven NHL games on Tuesday. The slate was highlighted by Toronto’s 4-3 win over Las Vegas and — you guessed it — we were on the Leafs and the over!

Today’s Slate

Nine-game slate in the NBA
An NBA doubleheader on ESPN features the Mavericks, Knicks, Nets and Bulls. It’s Mavs-Knicks at 7:30pm ET and Nets-Bulls at 10pm ET. The 76ers, Heat, Jazz and Lakers are also taking the court on what should be an entertaining night of basketball. Head over to our NBA picks page to see all of our previews and predictions.

NHL doubleheader on TNT
A small 3-game NHL slate is headlined by a double-header on TNT. It begins with the Bruins hosting the Canadiens at 7pm ET before the Maple Leafs visit the Coyotes at 10pm ET. You can find our predictions for every NHL matchup.

A big one in the Big East
Wednesday’s lone all-top 25 showdown on the college hardwood pits two Big East rivals against each other in Villanova and Xavier. The 14th-ranked Wildcats are going on the road to face the 17th-ranked Musketeers. Duke, Michigan State, and LSU are also in action. Check out all of our CBB picks.

Best Bet of the Day

English Premier League: West Ham -1 over Norwich City
2:45pm ET, Peacock

Norwich City is dead last in the EPL standings with just 10 points in 19 games after losing 5 straight without scoring a single goal. The Canaries are likely on course for another heavy defeat at West Ham, which should be backed to win by more than 1 goal. West Ham beat fellow EPL representative Leeds in the FA Cup this past Sunday. That marked the Hammers’ third straight win, with 9 goals scored during this stretch. West Ham won 4-0 when these teams last met, and Norwich City has endured a tough time when playing against the top teams. Read our full game preview for West Ham vs Norwich City.
