Happy Wednesday, Pickswise Nation! The NBA Finals continues today with a huge Game 3 between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics, while we have a full 15-game MLB slate to also look forward to. Let’s make your next bet better!

About Last Night

Lightning level it up
Tampa Bay erased its 2-0 series deficit in last night’s Game 4 as it beat the Rangers 4-1. Ondrej Palat was the star for the Lightning with a goal and 2 assists. It was a great night for Pickswise Nation, too, as we cashed our Lightning ML and Under 5.5 goals picks along with our +600 same game parlay!

Pickswise’s incredible MLB run continues
If you’ve been tailing our MLB picks the past week and a half, then enjoy the profit! Over the past 10 days we are up +19.5 units on sides and +26.1 units on totals, and that continued yesterday; we went 11-5 on ML/RL picks. The Dodgers’ rocky run continued yesterday as they fell 4-0 to the White Sox, with LA having now lost 3 in a row and 6 of its last 8.

Today’s Slate

Warriors and Celtics contest huge NBA Finals Game 3
Game 3 of the NBA Finals tips off at 9:00 pm ET on ABC, with high stakes for both teams. The Warriors can get the series back in their favor, while a victory for the Celtics would mean they need just 2 more wins at the TD Garden to win the NBA championship. Will it be Steph Curry or Jayson Tatum celebrating tonight? Read our Warriors vs Celtics preview.

Full 15-game slate in MLB
We have a full 15-game slate of MLB matchups today, with some interesting clashes in store. The Tigers and Pirates get the party started at 12:35 pm ET, while the Blue Jays and Royals lock horns at 2:00 pm ET live on YouTube. Meanwhile, the Dodgers look to turn their fortunes around against the White Sox. Check out today’s MLB game previews.

Best Bet of the Day

MLB: New York Yankees -1.5 over Minnesota Twins
7:40 pm ET

When Nestor Cortes takes the mound for the Yankees, they usually win. New York has won 8 of Cortes’ 10 starts this season, including 5 consecutive outings. His 1.50 ERA and 2.19 xERA have led him to become one of the most talented pitchers on the Yankees’ pitching staff. As for Twins starter Chris Archer, he has not pitched a full season since 2019, and it’s obvious the time off has not improved his game. Through 10 starts, Archer is 0-2 with a 3.89 ERA and a 5.51 xERA. Archer has not been successful at his home park yet this season as his ERA climbs to 5.00 with a 1.56 WHIP through 18.0 innings. The Bronx Bombers are the clear choice in this game. Back them on the -1.5 run line to maximize their value. Read our full game preview for Yankees vs Twins.
