Tennessee Titans
Point Spread Pick
ATL Falcons +5.5(-108)

Week 2 of the 2025 NFL preseason includes a matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons on Friday night in Atlanta. It’s hard to feel good about giving more than a field goal in any preseason game since there are so many unknown variables involved in basically meaningless situations. This contest is no exception. As such, my Titans vs Falcons pick is for Atlanta to cover the +5.5 spread.

The Titans went 3-14 last year, tying 2 other clubs for the worst record in the entire NFL and earning the #1 overall pick in the draft. They used it to select quarterback Cam Ward, who completed 5 of 8 passes for 67 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions during a 29-7 setback against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in his team’s preseason opener. Atlanta also lost but was a lot more competitive, succumbing to the visiting Detroit Lions 17-10. What was encouraging was the performance of 3rd-string QB Easton Stick, who has proven to be a capable backup in the league. Stick completed 15 of 18 attempts for 147 yards and a touchdown against Detroit. The Titans are favored because they are expected to play some of their starters, but keep in mind that this team stinks regardless of who is on the field.

Titans vs Falcons prediction: Falcons +5.5 (-108) available at time of publishing. Playable to +4.5.
