Arizona Diamondbacks vs San Francisco Giants Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 05/27/26

The Arizona Diamondbacks are red-hot, winning four consecutive games with two of those coming against the San Francisco Giants. They’ll look to complete the series sweep over the Giants, as they did just last week when San Francisco visited Arizona for their first three-game series of the season. The Giants did bounce back from that series sweep with two out of three wins over the Chicago White Sox, but have now lost six of their last eight games as they fall to the bottom of the National League standings.

Michael Soroka will be the Diamondbacks pitcher tasked with winning the sixth-straight game against the Giants. The Canadian righty has been dominant in May, allowing just four earned runs over 24.1 innings. The veteran has been giving up some contact in those matchups, but just one home run has kept the damage low.

Trevor McDonald counters for the Giants, coming off his worst start of the season, where he allowed seven earned runs. He had been performing well for San Francisco prior to that start, but there had been some instances this season when he got into trouble. Through four starts, he now owns a 4.76 ERA.

Arizona has been owning San Francisco this season, and the pitching matchup doesn’t do anything to believe it’ll be any different here.
