Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 05/30/26

I find Saturday’s matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles to be a compelling spot. I do my handicapping before looking at betting lines, and then I try to locate the best value from there. I initially circled the under for this matchup but was surprised to see the total already at 7.5. That is a low mark, in my opinion, so I will instead pivot to a side.

Trey Yesavage is coming off his worst outing of the season. He has only made 6 starts so far, but he allowed 5 earned runs across 6.2 innings against the Marlins last time out. His first 5 starts had been very strong, allowing just 3 combined earned runs in that sample. Baltimore is a solid offense against right-handed pitching, especially in their home park, but I am a fan of Yesavage and his profile. He ranks as one of the premier pitchers when it comes to suppressing hard contact, and his strikeout numbers are terrific as well. 

Brandon Young is also pitching well entering this game on Saturday, as he has a 2.91 ERA across his first 21.2 innings this month. Baltimore is 4-0 in those games thanks to some solid run support, but Young is showing some concerning signs. His 11 walks to 17 strikeouts in that span is not a great ratio, and on the season his K-BB% sits at just 6.1%. Young struggles to keep the ball on the ground and that is concerning with the hard contact he allows. I side with Toronto at current pricing.
