I have no idea what’s going on with FanDuel. I’m actually worries at this point. I know we all lose our way a little bit from time to time but these guys are legit stimulating the economy with their NBA player props lately. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice thing to do and all but the shareholders are going to get angry at some point. Looking over the Philadelphia 76ers vs Denver Nuggets game at 9pm ET on NBA TV, one line sticks out like a sore thumb.

I’m a Tyrese Maxey guy through and through. If I still wore jerseys I would have multiple Maxey jerseys. FanDuel still hasn’t caught on to this guy yet as they are offering his over 1.5 3s prop at +128. Both DraftKings and BetMGM are on to us as they have +115 and +110 posted respectively. Those are still worth betting but the +128 is borderline disrespectful.
No living person on the planet has done more for other people than Maxey has so far this season. The only historical person I can think of that did more for others was Jesus and Maxey is closing in on him. The kid is a walking ATM fueled partly by the sportsbooks, who don’t seem to understand they are watching greatness.
Maxey is getting all kinds of opportunity as the 76ers have been hit with Covid. He’s getting steady minutes and banging 3s with those minutes. In his last 5 games he’s taken 26 3-point attempts. He’s hit at least 2 treys in 4 of those games. The kid is on fire.
He gets the Nuggets tonight and while they are a good team they are banged up at the moment. Will Barton will likely join Michael Porter Jr. on the bench again tonight, leaving behind a team the 76ers can hang with. Although we may not even need Maxey to get his full compliment of minutes to get home on this number.
