We have put together a list of all of the day’s best odds boosts, which happen to be from DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook. We’ll discuss whether or not they are worth playing. Let’s dive in.

Manny Machado to hit a home run – Boosted to +340 with DraftKings Sportsbook

Here we will looking for the power of Manny Machado to come through. The Padres will be facing the Diamondbacks, a team that has been out of the picture for a long time now. Taylor Widener will start for Arizona and his ERA of 5.05 is concerning. Machado has 20 home runs this season, so even though he went 0 for 5 last night, this looks to be worth a small play. Be sure to check out all of our MLB Picks for today’s action.

Nationals vs Braves: Over 2.5 strikeouts in the first inning  – Boosted to +175 with DraftKings Sportsbook

With a win last night, the Atlanta Braves have a winning record for the first time this entire season. The fact that they are just one game back is shocking, but they will look to keep it rolling with a win tonight. Though for this odds boost, we are going to a combined 3 strikeouts in the first inning. Charlie Morton will start for the Braves and has 141 strikeouts in 122.0 innings. The Nationals will start Josiah Gray, who has little experience this year, but that also means the Braves might not be familiar with him yet. Because of the strikeout numbers for Morton, this looks to be worth a play. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.

Bryce Harper to record 2+ hits – Boosted to +190 with DraftKings Sportsbook

The Phillies took the division lead last night with a win over the Mets and will be looking to increase their advantage this afternoon. Bryce Harper went 1 for 4 last night with a home run, and a multi-hit game might be hard to come by today. The Mets will be starting Tylor Megill, who has an ERA of 2.68. Harper has not had a multi-hit game in a few days, so because he is facing a solid pitcher, this odds boost looks to be best to avoid. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.

Michael Chiesa & Alonzo Menifield both to win – Boosted to +200 with DraftKings Sportsbook

Here we will need two fighters to win their fights. Michael Chiesa will be fighting Vicente Luque and our experts do in fact like him to win. As for Alonzo Menifield, he will be fighting Ed Herman. Our pick for this fight is for the fight to end inside the distance, but a Menifield win is also likely. For that reason, this looks to be worth a small play. Be sure to check out the rest of our UFC 265 picks here.

Atlanta United & Columbus Crew to combine for over 3.5 goals – Boosted to +250 with DraftKings Sportsbook

Since firing their head coach, the effort form Atlanta has been improving. Bringing Josef Martinez back into the starting lineup has increased their scoring, having scored 5 goals in their last 2 games. The problem is that their defense has allowed 6 goals during this same stretch. Columbus has also seen at least 5 goals in each of their last 2 games, so backing this prop looks to be worth a small play. Be sure to check out all our MLS picks for today’s action.

Olympic Women’s Basketball: USA to score 95+ points vs Japan – Boosted to +215 with DraftKings Sportsbook

The USA men won the gold medal last night and the women will try to replicate that tonight. Here we are going to be focused on a team total from Team USA. They have averaged 83.6 points per game during this Olympics and have not scored more than 95 once. Japan is allowing 79 points per game, so their defense has been fairly solid. These teams met in pool play, where the USA won 86-69. I do not see the USA scoring this much for the first time in this tournament, so avoiding this prop looks to be the way to go. Michael Chiesa to win by submission or on points vs Vicente Luque – Boosted to +160 with FanDuel Sportsbook

The fact that we already like Michael Chiesa to win this fight makes this prop very interesting. Chiesa has been an elite grappler in his career, but also will win by decision if he has to. He does not have a ton of TKO/KO wins, making this an odds boost worth playing. Be sure to check out our full fight preview for this matchup.

Bryce Harper to hit a home run and Phillies to win vs Mets – Boosted to +420 with FanDuel Sportsbook

Earlier we discussed how Bryce Harper to have two hits might not be worth playing, but here we will need a home run, plus a Phillies win. He homered yesterday, so while that is enticing, our experts actually would lean to the Mets, making this another odds boost best to avoid. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.
