Best sportsbook promotions and odds boosts for Tuesday: MLB, Golf and the Olympics
We have put together a list of all of the day’s best odds boosts, which happen to be from DraftKings Sportsbook, PointsBet Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, and BetMGM Sportsbook today. We’ll discuss whether or not they are worth playing. Let’s dive in.
Royals vs White Sox: Each team to record at least 1 hit in the 1st inning – Boosted to +190 with DraftKings Sportsbook
We’re looking for a hit from each team here in the first inning and these lineups look strong enough to do just that. The starting pitching is also not the best tonight with two guys posting an ERA north of 4.00. The Royals might not be the greatest team, but with a guy like Whit Merrifield leading off, they are a huge threat to start this game with a hit. The same goes for the White Sox, who have a strong top 3. Because of the pitching matchup, this looks to be a prop worth betting. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.
Adam Frazier to record 2+ hits – Boosted to +260 with DraftKings Sportsbook
Newly acquired Adam Frazier has had a few hits so far for the Padres, but has yet to have a multi-hit game. Tonight the Padres will face Sean Manaea, who has been plenty good this season. Frazier still might be settling in with his new team, so avoiding this prop looks to be the best play. Be sure to check out all of our MLB Picks for today’s action.
Anthony Rizzo to hit a home run – Boosted to +380 with DraftKings Sportsbook
Anthony Rizzo has already shown his power for the Yankees and tonight we will be looking for the same. The Yankees will be facing the Orioles tonight and will be looking for a bounce-back performance after losing 7-1 last night. Alexander Wells will start for the Orioles and has an ERA of 5.28. He has allowed 3 home runs in 15.1 innings, so a small play looks to be worth a shot. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.
Astros vs Dodgers: Either team to record a hit in team’s first plate appearance of the game – Boosted to +140 with DraftKings Sportsbook
Here we are looking for one of the lead-off batters to record a hit. That would be either Jose Altuve (Astros) or Mookie Betts (Dodgers). Both of these guys are extremely good at the plate, so even though we have two solid pitchers, this looks to be worth a play. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.
Toronto Blue Jays, Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers all to win – Boosted to +300 with FanDuel Sportsbook
Here we are looking to a three-team parlay, however, our experts do not like all of these teams tonight. We like the Blue Jays and the Brewers, but believe the Dodgers are worth fading. This is obviously just a lean to the Astros, however, it still may be best to avoid this parlay. Be sure to check out all of our MLB Picks for today’s action.
New York Yankees to win vs Baltimore and 9+ total runs scored in game – Boosted to +150 with FanDuel Sportsbook
For this prop, we are looking to parlay the Yankees to win the game plus there to be plenty of scoring. While we like the Yankees, we also believe this will be a lower-scoring game. The Orioles scored 7 times against the Yankees last night, but their offense is still not good, making this a prop it’s best to avoid. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.
US Women’s Basketball to win vs Australia and 160+ total points scored in game – Boosted to +120 with FanDuel Sportsbook
The USA Women’s basketball team has been cruising and that should not change when they play Australia in the quarter-finals. The Australian women have been scoring plenty in this tournament as well, so a USA win and over looks to be a solid play. Be sure to check out all our coverage for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Braves to lead at the end of 3 innings – Boosted to -110 with BetMGM Sportsbook
The Braves are still looking to chase down the New York Mets and will need a strong start tonight against the Cardinals. Max Fried will be on the mound, and while he has been inconsistent, a good start is still likely. The Cardinals will start Jon Lester and his 5.02 ERA is far from impressive. Atlanta has had some nice offensive outputs as of late, so backing this prop looks to be worthy of a play. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.
Xander Schauffele to finish ahead of Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas and Patrick Reed – Boosted to +250 with PointsBet Sportsbook
Xander Schauffele is coming off a fantastic performance at the Olympics, winning the gold medal. Here we are going to need him to finish ahead of the other three golfers from the Olympics. Traveling back from Japan is surely going to take a toll on all of these guys, making this play feel like a coin flip. Collin Morikawa is still playing some of the best golf in the world, so this boost may be best to stay away from. Be sure to check out all of our upcoming golf picks.
