The Tigers will be without their star wide receiver Luther Burden, as he opted out to prepare for the NFL Draft. That should promote Theo Wease Jr. into an expanded role in the Missouri offense. Wease averaged just over 4 receptions per game in Missouri’s final 4 games, and he surpassed 80 yards twice in that span. The other 2 times, he tallied at least 70 receiving yards. With an increase in target share, Wease should have plenty of opportunities to surpass 80 yards against an Iowa defense that will be without its best cover cornerback in Jermari Harris on Monday afternoon.

Similar to Wease, Kamari Moulton should benefit from an expanded role in this game. The Hawkeyes had a top-5 rush rate over the final 5 weeks of the season, and future NFL running back Kaleb Johnson averaged 20 attempts per game. Without him, Moulton should get at least double-digit carries in this game, and he’s proven he can do some damage with those carries. The freshman was excellent in his limited role during the season, averaging 5.4 yards per carry on 70 carries. Furthermore, he surpassed 60 rushing yards in both games where he carried the ball at least 10 times. With an increased workload against a defense that allowed more than 200 yards combined to Arkansas and Mississippi State’s starting running backs in its final 2 games of the season, I really like Moulton to gain at least 60 rushing yards against the Tigers.
