This series has been one-way traffic to this point and I don't expect that to change on Wednesday. The Dodgers have outscored the Reds by an 8-1 margin over the last two games, and the Los Angeles dominance on the mound should continue with Blake Snell getting the start in this one. Since returning from injury, Snell has picked up right where he left off last October, having allowed one run or fewer in each of his last six outings. He'll be going up against a Reds offense that is among the worst in the NL in most statistical categories. We can expect a strong start from Snell and his offense should do enough to give him a cushion against Cincinnati starter Andrew Abbott, who has allowed 16 runs and 20 hits over his last nine innings pitched. I'll back Los Angeles on the run line to close out this series.

An NL matchup highlights the afternoon slate on Wednesday, and we should see plenty of runs in St. Louis. Matthew Liberatore gets the ball for the Cardinals, and he hasn't been able to find it all season long. The lefty holds a 5.53 ERA and he's gotten shelled over his last seven outings, to the tune of a 7.27 ERA in that span. It's hard to trust Liberatore against any lineup, even at home against a non-playoff team. As for the visitors, San Francisco is countering with Anthony Molina, who carries a 5.24 ERA and just allowed a whopping seven runs in three innings of work against the Padres in his most recent outing. To make matters worse, both bullpens are below average and can be expected to surrender plenty of runs of their own. With that in mind, let's go with the over in this one.
