Familiar foes Manchester United and Liverpool headline the English Premier League action this weekend, and Jurgen Klopp’s Reds will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign with victory at Old Trafford on Sunday.

United are without a win in three league games and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be demanding a response from his players following last weekend’s disappointing 4-2 defeat at Leicester.

The Red Devils have had little success in their recent rivalry with Liverpool, and have managed to master the Merseysiders only twice across their last 14 meetings.

To add to the excitement of this heavyweight clash, we’ve come up with a 3-leg same game parlay that pays over 7/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down.

Liverpool ML (+125)

Sadio Mane to score (+180)

Over 3.5 goals (+156)

Parlay odds: +711

Liverpool ML (+125)

Liverpool are yet to taste defeat in any of their 12 games across all competitions this season and their in-form frontline should strike fear into an inconsistent Manchester United team. Fresh from a 3-2 success at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, the Merseysiders head to Old Trafford with confidence oozing through their veins. Liverpool have now scored three or more goals in eight of their last nine fixtures and the only exception to that came in a 2-2 tie with chief Premier League title rivals Manchester City.

However, City’s neighbors United are far less intimidating on current form and they come into this matchup on the back of some underwhelming performances. The Red Devils were two goals down at half-time of Wednesday’s Champions League triumph over Atalanta, and just four days earlier had suffered a 4-2 defeat at Leicester. United have failed to keep a clean sheet in 12 consecutive home games in all competitions and their last two English Premier League fixtures at Old Trafford have seen them tie 1-1 with Everton and lose 1-0 to Aston Villa.

Liverpool were emphatic 5-0 victors at Watford last weekend and can follow up in Manchester, where they won 4-2 in May of last season.

Sadio Mane to score (+180)

All focus will rightly be on Liverpool’s Egyptian talisman Mohamed Salah, who has 12 goals in 11 appearances this term and has netted in nine consecutive matches. However, Senegalese teammate Sadio Mane has also looked a constant threat and may represent more value to get on the scoresheet.

Mane has five goals in eight Premier League appearances this season, which includes him hitting the net in back-to-back games with Manchester City and Watford. Given United’s poor defensive record and the fact they are going to spend much of their time trying to stop Salah, the door could be left wide-open for Mane to strike.

Over 3.5 goals (+156)

Both Manchester United and Liverpool triumphed in five-goal thrillers in the Champions League in midweek and goals may again be on the cards at Old Trafford. Liverpool have scored three or more goals in each of their seven matches on the road this season, but they have managed just one clean sheet across their last five games.

United’s defensive stability is a real concern but they have failed to score in only one of their eight league games and the attacking presence of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford makes them a danger. Last season’s two final meetings between this pair featured at least five goals and this tussle looks likely to follow suit.
