Following a jam-packed seven hours of football in the afternoon session, let's turn our sights to Sunday Night Football to cap off Sunday's loaded slate — as we'll see a compelling matchup between the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams. Davante Adams was the epitome of consistency for the Rams a season ago, racking up a whopping 60 receptions and 14 touchdowns in as many games played. The veteran wideout has an excellent rapport with Matthew Stafford, and he has excelled within this Sean McVay system. After a slow start to the campaign in Australia, Adams was targeted 10 times and finished with eight receptions for a game-high 195 yards and two touchdowns against the Giants a week ago. Given the fact that Puka Nacua is listed as doubtful for this game, Adams is likely to draw the Patrick Surtain II matchup on Sunday. This is certainly a challenge, but we can expect McVay to find ways to scheme Adams open around the goal line. As long as we're getting plus-money odds with the Rams top wideout, I'll trust in Adams to find the end zone once again.

On the Denver side of things, it's hard to get a feel for this offense due to the struggles the Broncos have dealt with over the first two games of the season. Bo Nix was abysmal against the Chiefs in Week 1, and most of the Denver skill position players followed suit as a result. However, one player who rose to the occasion in that contest was Evan Engram, who hauled in four receptions on five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown against a Kansas City defense that has been pretty stingy against the pass thus far. The tight end had a quieter game in Week 2, but he's been good for at least four receptions per game over the previous four seasons, and we can expect a higher target share against a Rams defense that has allowed nine receptions to opposing tight ends through two weeks. Plenty of attention in this new-look Rams secondary will be paid to Jaylen Waddle, so I'll look down the board at a secondary option to find the end zone in this one.
