We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Sunday night, including action from the NFL preseason, MLS, and MLB.

One pick is taken from each sport with 2 picks from the MLB. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1291 with BetMGM; that’s more than 12/1! Let’s break down each of these 4 plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.

NFL Preseason Pick: Carolina Panthers vs Indianapolis Colts – Over 33.5 Points (-110), 1pm ET

The preseason is all about motivation and both of these teams have plenty of motivation from the coaching staff to the players. Everyone involved seems to have something to prove which is an over bettor’s dream.

On top of guys throwing the ball, we need guys catching the balls and we have that, too. The Colts have an absolute freak in Michael Strachan that they will likely pepper with targets. Especially in the red zone. The kid is a 6’5” and 226-pound former track star, so he’s as dangerous as they come. As far as the Panthers go, Terrace Marshall Jr. looks like a freak as well so if he’s allowed to play for a long stretch, he could certainly push this over along. Matt Rhule has already said the Panthers will look to force feed him so there is that. This game has everything I want in a preseason over.

MLB pick: Baltimore Orioles vs Boston Red Sox -1.5 (-160), 1:10pm ET

Starting pitching has been a major issue for the Orioles all season, and while they’ve seen Matt Harvey and even Jorge Lopez step it up in recent weeks those guys are seasoned big-league pitchers who are capable of a good stretch over an amount of time. Don’t expect the same from Keegan Akin. Akin has pitched 54.2 innings for the Orioles this year, and his numbers of 0-6, 8.23 tell you everything you need to know. There is absolutely no reason to bet on his team no matter who the opponent is or what the odds are when he takes the mound, but when it’s the Boston Red Sox–one of the best offenses in baseball playing at Fenway Park–don’t even think about it.

MLB pick: Cleveland Indians ML (-115) vs Detroit Tigers, 1:10pm ET

Triston McKenzie has experienced some natural struggles that can be expected of a young pitcher, but he has thrown the ball well as of late. He is coming off back-to-back quality starts for the first time this season, and he is familiar with the Tigers.  McKenzie has already faced Detroit 3 times in his young career, and he is 1-0 with a 1.20 ERA  in 15.0 innings against them. He last faced the Tigers back on May 26, and he tossed 5.0 scoreless innings while allowing just a single hit. McKenzie seems to be in a groove on the mound; he should be able to keep his success against Detroit going in this matchup.

MLS Pick: Los Angeles FC vs Atlanta United FC ML (+140), 4pm ET

In a rare inter-conference matchup, Atlanta will host LAFC. Last year’s leading scorers in the West haven’t been able to put it together yet in 2021–just when it seems like things are finally starting to click, something else goes awry. LAFC’s dynamic duo of Carlos Vela and Diego Rossi hasn’t panned out, to the point where Rossi–the league’s leading scorer last season–started last weekend’s game on the bench. They have now gone 5 in a row without a win and are dangerously close to falling out of the playoff picture. It’s hard to see a one-off cross-country road trip against an increasingly confident team improving the situation for LAFC, so take Atlanta on the money line.
