It’s another jam-packed week in the MLB, and we have another loaded slate on Friday with a number of compelling matchups. And what better way to celebrate a full slate of baseball than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay with a payout of 11/1 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook. I just cashed my MLB mega parlay last night at +943 odds — let’s make it 2 wins in a row!

Before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every MLB game today. Let’s get into our mega parlay for Thursday.

Toronto Blue Jays -0.5 first 5 run line (+126)

Houston Astros -2.5 alt run line (+148)

San Diego Padres -1.5 (+114)

Parlay odds: +1100

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Toronto Blue Jays -0.5 first 5 run line (+126) over Los Angeles Angels

To start off this mega parlay, we have the Toronto Blue Jays on the run line in the first 5 innings. The reason why I like the first 5 innings, as opposed to the full game spread, is due to the starting pitching matchup. Alek Manoah takes the hill for Toronto, and he’s clearly been one of the best pitchers in the AL this season. Manoah boasts a 1.60 ERA and a .880 WHIP through 8 starts, averaging nearly 7 innings per start in the process. The Angels will counter with Chase Silseth, who doesn’t have much experience at the MLB level, especially against a lineup of this caliber.

On top of the pitching matchup, the Blue Jays offense is finally trending in the right direction following a slow start. Look for Vlad Jr., Bo Bichette and co. to stay hot and pick up a few early runs against Silseth.

Houston Astros -2.5 alternate run line (+148) over Seattle Mariners

The second leg of this parlay has us backing the Houston Astros on an alternate run line. This is a mismatch on paper. Justin Verlander gets the start for the Astros, and he’ll look to build on his excellent start to the season against a struggling Mariners offense. On the other side, the deep and talented Astros lineup should see success against Chris Flexen. Flexen has had a tough spring, to the tune of a 4.98 ERA and 1.48 WHIP. While the Astros are susceptible to the strikeout, Flexen’s stuff hasn’t been up to par. If the Astros grab a couple of early runs, I don’t see the Mariners coming from behind against Verlander and a rested Astros bullpen. This one could get ugly.

San Diego Padres -1.5 (+114) over Pittsburgh Pirates

To finish off this mega parlay, we have the San Diego Padres on the run line. Simply put, this inclusion is a fade of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates are once again near the bottom of the NL Central and among the worst teams in baseball. And while Pittsburgh has slightly overachieved to this point, the Pirates’ pitching is still severely lacking. Pittsburgh is 26th in team ERA and near the bottom of MLB in WHIP, a stark contrast to the Padres’ top-10 pitching staff. Despite a strong start to the season for Jose Quintana, Manny Machado and co. should do damage against the left-hander. The Padres are 17-7 on the run line in road games in 2022, and I expect that to continue after consecutive poor showings against the Brewers.
