We are getting another week in Major League Baseball started with a 10-game slate on Monday. It’s MLB trade deadline eve, so more of the focus right now may be off the field as opposed to on the field. Nonetheless, the schedule is an intriguing one – highlighted by the best player in baseball (Shohei Ohtani) paying a visit to the best team in baseball (Atlanta). The second-best player in baseball (Ronald Acuna Jr.) will be on the field in this game, too. As if that isn’t enough, Philadelphia is visiting Miami and the Yankees are hosting Tampa Bay.

I cashed a +863 mega parlay on Saturday and just a couple of days before that the Pickswise team nailed a +800 parlay. Let’s keep the momentum going! Below is my MLB mega parlay for Monday, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks for every game today.

Rays -1.5 (+134)

Blue Jays -1.5 (+140)

Reds ML (+105)

MLB parlay odds: +1051

For this parlay, we are going with 2 favorites on the run line and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 over New York Yankees (+134)

The Yankees are coming off a disastrous performance on Sunday Night Baseball, as they lost to the Orioles 9-3 after Luis Severino surrendered 7 runs in the first inning. Now the Bronx Bombers make a quick turnaround from Baltimore to face Tampa Bay at home on Monday. They have to go up against Rays right-hander Tyler Glasnow, too. How good has Glasnow been in July? Well, his worst start out of his last 4 is 2 earned runs allowed in 7.0 innings. His monthly ERA is 2.30 and he has struck out 43 batters in 31.1 innings. New York is countering with Domingo German, who is 5-7 with a 4.77 ERA – including a 5.64 mark in July. Give me Tampa Bay to win by multiple runs

Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 over Baltimore Orioles (+140)

The Orioles may be leading the American League East, but don’t count out the Blue Jays – not in the overall race and also not today, specifically. Toronto is hanging around at 59-47, good for third place in the division (ahead of the Red Sox and last-place Yankees). The Jays are 8 games over .500 at home, which is where they will face the O’s on Monday night. Over the last 7 days, Bo Bichette has compiled a .480 average with a home run and 6 RBIs; Whit Merrifield is batting .464 with 2 homers and 7 RBIs. Toronto also appears to be in good shape with its pitching. Chris Bassitt is 10-5 with a 3.91 ERA, including a 3.33 mark in July. The Blue Jays have won 5 of his last 6 starts. They have also won 3 of their last 4 and 5 of their last 7 games overall. Let’s roll with the home team.

Cincinnati Reds ML over Chicago Cubs (+105)

Cubs right-hander Marcus Stroman was one of the best pitchers in baseball in the first half of the season, but the story is a different one now. Stroman posted a 2.76 ERA in April, a 2.87 ERA in May and a 2.17 ERA in June. However, he owns a 7.99 ERA with a 1.73 WHIP in July and has only been getting worse with every start. Stroman has allowed 12 runs, 16 hits and 6 walks in his last 7.0 innings to the Cardinals and White Sox. The Reds are going with Andrew Abbott, who is having a stellar rookie season. He has made 10 starts at the MLB level, boasts a sub-2.00 ERA with a 27.8% strikeout rate and is also on a 14-inning scoreless streak heading into Monday’s start. The Cubs are not very good against left-handers, too, so this is a favorable matchup for the Reds. At plus money, they have great value.
