After a busy Friday slate, we’ve got a loaded 15-game slate on Saturday. Baseball will start in the afternoon and continue throughout the night, and what better way to celebrate a large slate of games than to create a 3-team mega parlay? This parlay could pay out at over 9/1 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook, so be sure to check this out.

But before we dive in, be sure to check out our MLB picks for every MLB side and total today.

Let’s get into our mega parlay for Saturday and break down each of the legs one by one.

Tampa Bay Rays ML (-105) over New York Yankees

An awful August from the Yankees has seen their lead over the Rays go from 15 games on August 1 to just 3.5 games. And after a strong pitching performance on Friday, Tampa Bay is set to start Corey Kluber in this contest. Kluber’s numbers aren’t too impressive on first glance. However, he has pitched well against New York this year, as he’s gone at least 6.0 innings in every start against the Yankees. Furthermore, Kluber has surrendered just 3 earned runs in 4 starts against New York. On the other side, Jameson Taillon holds a 3.95 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP, but he has struggled recently. His ERA has jumped to 4.85 over the last 15 starts while his WHIP has increased to 1.21 for the year.

The Rays offense is clicking, while the Yankees rank in the bottom 5 in most offensive categories over the last 15 days. Look for Tampa Bay to keep the pressure on in the AL East race with another victory.

St. Louis Cardinals alt. run line -2.5 (+130) over Pittsburgh Pirates

St. Louis has an opportunity to finish off the last 2 games of this series in style while closing in on a division title. Playing the struggling Pirates, this one shouldn’t be all that close. Pitching hasn’t been the Pirates forte, Pittsburgh has the 4th-worst overall team ERA and 4th-worst bullpen ERA. JT Brubaker has been a part of that problem, and it’s no surprise that he’s lost both of his starts against St. Louis in 2022 by a combined score of 12-1. On the other side, Cardinals starter Jack Flaherty was rock solid in his first start post-injury, surrendering just 1 run through 5.0 innings pitched. Flaherty is 8-1 with a 2.50 ERA against Pittsburgh in his career, so look for him to continue dominating the Pirates today.

Toronto Blue Jays alt. run line -2.5 (+135) over Texas Rangers

The middle game of this series features an extremely lopsided pitching matchup. Kevin Gausman will take the mound for the Blue Jays and he’ll be opposed by Kohei Arihara for Texas. In 17 MLB innings pitched this season, Arihara holds a 5.29 ERA and a 5.02 xERA. His numbers in Triple-A aren’t much better, meaning he should have serious trouble with this Blue Jays lineup. As for Gausman, the Blue Jays are 5-0 in his last 5 road outings, and he will take on a Rangers offense that ranked 30th in batting average, OBP, SLG, and OPS over the last 7 games. I don’t see Texas breaking out of this slump at the plate, and think there’s serious value on Toronto on this alternate run line.
