The week in Major League Baseball continues with a more-than-full 17-game slate on Tuesday. That’s right; a 15-game schedule has turned into 17 because the Phillies and White Sox got rained out on Monday, as did the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers. They will make those up in the form of doubleheaders. Meanwhile, the Mets and Dodgers are wrapping things up with a 10:10 pm ET start on TBS.

Below is my mega parlay for Tuesday, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Cubs -1.5 (-105)

Yankees -1.5 (+140)

Braves -1.5 (+125)

MLB parlay odds: +954

For this parlay, we are going with 3 favorites on the run line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Chicago Cubs -1.5 over Oakland Athletics (-105)

Marcus Stroman is on the mound for the Cubs, which means another win should be forthcoming – especially since the opponent is none other than the lowly Athletics. In his first season with Chicago, Stroman has not allowed a single run in 2 of his 3 outings and in the other appearance, he surrendered just 2 in 6.0 innings. That has him with an ERA of 1.00 and also a WHIP of 1.00 heading into Tuesday’s contest. Oakland is countering with Ken Waldichuk, who is saddled with a 10.50 ERA and a 1.95 WHIP through 3 starts. Waldichuk has served up 7 home runs in just 15.0 innings and now faces a Cubs lineup that is in fine form to begin the season and has feasted on left-handed pitching.

New York Yankees -1.5 over LA Angels (+140)

Clarke Schmidt may not inspire a ton of confidence for the Yankees, but the good news is that the bullpen is well-rested in case it needs to provide a fair amount of support. Gerrit Cole tossed a complete game on Sunday and New York was off on Monday. Jose Suarez is taking the mound for the Angels following 2 rough outings to start the 2023 campaign. Suarez has allowed 10 earned runs on 18 hits through 8.1 innings of work against Seattle and Washington. Last season Suarez was an average back-end starter in terms of production, but so far this season his top 3 pitches are getting hit well with xBAs of .290, .324 and .317. There is no reason to think he can contain this Yankees lineup.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 over San Diego Padres (+125)

The Braves (13-4) are the hottest team in baseball, riding a 7-game winning streak that has them within 1 game of the Rays (14-3) for the best record in the entire league. Atlanta took game 1 of this series 2-0, as Max Fried and the bullpen put up blanks inning after inning. With Spencer Strider on the mound tonight, the visitors should be able to make similarly quick work of San Diego’s bats. Strider hasn’t been quite at his best yet this year, but he is 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA and has struck out 27 batters in just 16.0 innings. For the struggling Padres (8-10), Blake Snell is 0-2 with a 6.92 ERA. Don’t overthink this one; Atlanta should continue to roll.
