Brook Lopez 3+ made threes (+470)

A sneaky good pick for tonight’s game is to back Lopez to drain 3 treys. For a bet that has landed 5 times in his last 9 games against the Lakers, we are getting absurd odds here. Lopez has been the iron man for the Bucks this season, starting 53 games — the most out of anyone on the roster. Following a couple of poor shooting games he’s starting to pick it up again; on Monday he had 27 points against the Blazers while going 9-for-12 from the floor and draining 2 of 5 threes. In January he shot the three-ball at 35.5 percent, clearing this line in 6 games played — which is pretty remarkable for a center.

The Lakers are one of the worst three-point defensive teams in the NBA right now, allowing 40 percent of made shots from the perimeter in their last 3 games. The Thunder drained 17 threes against them on Tuesday and Milwaukee is just in a different stratosphere offensively, so LA could be in a lot of trouble. Lopez went 3-for-5 in the first meeting with the Lakers, so we can only hope — and expect– that he repeats the performance tonight.

Anthony Davis to score 30+ points (+115)

A lot of people were left wondering what happened to Anthony Davis on Tuesday as a video circled around of him sitting down on the bench while LeBron James drained the jump shot that broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record. That was enough to prompt certain media outlets to start rumors that the Lakers are actively shopping AD before today’s trade deadline, which I find hard to believe — especially now since they got rid of Russell Westbrook. We all know what Davis is capable of doing on the offensive end, and one of his best games of the season has come against the Bucks in the first meeting in which he dropped 44 points and had 10 rebounds on 66 percent shooting from the field.

His numbers were on the rise prior to the game against OKC, when he had only 13 points. Before that he went over 30 in two straight games vs Indiana and New Orleans. The Bucks have been on a dominant 8-game win streak lately, but I expect him to bounce back fully here. Westbrook not playing also means an extra 14 shots to go around, so everyone’s numbers will benefit. Davis averages 27.2 points per game in 19 career games vs the Bucks. After we saw him drop 44 in the series opener back in early December, getting to 30 shouldn’t be too big of a problem in this one.
