I'm an NFL handicapper here at Pickswise who was raised in a household full of sports fanatics. Since I unfortunately never had LeBron James' jumping ability I wasn't able to make it to the NBA, and chose writing about sports as the next best thing. An avid sports bettor myself, I'm excited to get to write about the industry as it gets set to take off across the country. Buckle up. We have a small but solid slate in the NBA today, and there are plenty of opportunities for value. What better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday on Tuesday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition. We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time.

But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game.

New York Knicks ML (+168)

Toronto Raptors ML (+180)

Phoenix Suns -1.5 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1332

Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

New York Knicks ML (+168) over Golden State Warriors

I’m fading the Warriors to start off this mega parlay. Bold, I know. But this isn’t a great spot for Golden State. They’re on the second half of a back to back, and didn’t look great in the first half as they only scraped by the Pacers by two points. Steph Curry is going to break the all-time three-point record in the Garden tonight, and I think all the attention being paid to that record might be a bit of a distraction.

The Knicks are tough to beat at home, and MSG should be rocking for this primetime nationally televised game. They aren’t going to let Curry come in and clown them in their own building. The Warriors haven’t been playing their best ball overall lately, going 4-3 in their last seven with the four wins coming against either terrible or banged up teams.

Toronto Raptors ML (+180) over Brooklyn Nets

We faded the Warriors for the first leg, why not fade the Nets for the second leg of this parlay? Brooklyn hasn’t looked great either, as they just lost by double-digits to the Rockets last week. And now they’re dealing with significant COVID issues. The Nets just placed four more guys — including a couple of starters — into the COVID protocols. They were already going to be significantly shorthanded here, and now even Kevin Durant is questionable with an ankle injury.

Needless to say, that would be a massive blow. The Raptors have won four of five, with the only loss in this span coming by just a single point. Toronto is also 7-5 on the road this year, and it is well rested since its  most recent game against the Bulls was postponed.

Phoenix Suns -1.5 (-110) over Portland Trail Blazers

To wrap this mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we have the Suns in the nightcap. Phoenix is still banged up, but so is Portland and I don’t want any part of the Trail Blazers right now. Portland has become a full-blown dumpster fire, as it has now lost eight of its past nine games. The only win in that span has come against the lowly Pistons. The Blazers are still without CJ McCollum, and they haven’t been able to replace his 20 ppg scoring.

Damian Lillard is just 14-for-44 from the field over his last three games. The Suns just took a tough loss to the Clippers last night, but right before that they had looked mostly fine without Devin Booker. Phoenix is the much tougher and more disciplined team, and I expect them to show out here in this nationally televised spot.
