There are now only 5 games in the NBA tonight, but we still have an NBA TV double-header.

It will be the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks squaring off at 7:30 pm ET, followed by the LA Clippers and Sacramento Kings at 10:00 pm ET. Our same game parlay for Magic vs Hawks is available below, and also be sure to check out our predictions on the side and total for the other games.

Let’s get into it!

John Collins to score 30+ points (+660)

Kevin Huerter 3+ made threes (+104)

Parlay odds: +1400

John Collins to score 30+ points (+660)

There is a lot of uncertainty around the Hawks’ roster coming into tonight’s game; right now they have 3 players in the health and safety protocols and 3 more out with other injuries. The list of absentees includes Danilo Gallinari, Solomon Hill, Clint Capela, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Trae Young, and De’Andre Hunter. That is a lot of points missing right there, but John Collins should be the one to pick up the slack. He has scored 20+ in 3 of his last 4 games and has already gone once over 30 points in the month of December vs Charlotte. He took only 13 and 14 shots his previous two games and managed to get to 20 points. If his shot attempts go up to 20 tonight, 30 points isn’t out of the question. He’s a capable scorer from inside the arc, he has made a three in every single game in December, and his free-throw percentage is at 81% for the month. Collins is also averaging 22 points per game vs Orlando in 2 games this season while shooting almost 54% from the field.

Kevin Huerter 3+ made threes (+104)

The same applies to Kevin Huerter. Although he has been in a bit of a slump lately shooting the ball, he is still making 2.6 shots from three-point land on 6.1 attempts in December. He is among the leaders in efficiency on this Hawks roster and I also expect his attempts to go up with so many players being absent in this one. Orlando isn’t really good at defending the perimeter; it allows opponents to shoot 36.4% from three-point land this season, which is the 7th-worst mark in the NBA. Huerter has made 3+ threes in 3 of his last 6 vs Orlando; that’s also an encouraging number going into tonight’s game.
