After just 2 games yesterday, the NBA returns with 13 games on Wednesday, including a ESPN doubleheader! The action starts in Boston, where the Celtics host the Charlotte Hornets at 7:30 pm ET, and you can find my same-game parlay for that game below.

We’ve also got predictions on the side and total for the rest of Wednesday’s 13-game slate, but for now let’s focus on the Hornets and Celtics.

Jayson Tatum to record 8+ assists (+750)

Miles Bridges over 19.5 points (-118)

Parlay odds: +1456

Jayson Tatum to record 8+ assists (+750)

The price on this bet is insane, especially when you consider Jayson Tatum has already had a game against the Hornets this season in which he notched 8 assists. With Marcus Smart most likely missing tonight’s game, Tatum will handle the ball a lot more than he usually does. There has been a slight increase in his assists over the past few games compared to the season average, so that’s also a good sign for our bet. Against the Knicks 12 days ago he had a 9-assist night and in head-to-head meetings with the Hornets he has had 8 assists in 2 straight games. If tonight’s game is similar to the one earlier this season, we will see a ton of points scored and hopefully Tatum can get everyone else involved as that’s the best way the Celtics can come out with a win.

Miles Bridges over 19.5 points (-118)

Miles Bridges has completely stolen the show at Madison Square Garden on Monday as he dropped 38 points on the Knicks while shooting 14-for-20 from the field and making 5 of 9 attempts from 3-point land. It was his 3rd game in a row in which he scored over 19.5 points. In the 2 games before that he had 20 against Orlando and 21 against Philadelphia. In January he is averaging 21.1 points per game and shooting 51% from the field. LaMelo Ball not playing has also worked in his favor as he gets to handle the ball a lot more often, which resulted in 20 shot attempts against New York. I expect him to stay aggressive. He scored 25 against the Celtics earlier this season and in 25 road games he is averaging 21.2 points per game.
