The Sweet 16 continues, and by Sunday night we’ll know who will be a part of the Elite Eight. March Madness and the NCAA Tournament has been great so far, and I’m excited to see what happens next.
Below you can find my lock of the day and best picks for each of Sunday’s four games, with three of them entered as part of the Pickswise $10,000 Capper Contest, where I’m going up against some other top college basketball experts.

Two of the great offensive programs in the sport do battle in what should be a fascinating Sweet 16 showdown. Creighton has improved defensively this season, but can it neutralize the Bulldogs in transition? The ceiling for Mark Few’s team seems significantly higher than anyone else who’s still playing.

I would like to apologize Coach Howard for thinking that his team would lose early due to injury to Isaiah Livers. Here’s my make-up pick — Michigan will beat Florida State and advance to the Elite Eight.

I’ve picked Alabama since day one and I’ve got no reason to change now. Nate Oates is a players’ coach and one of my favorite personalities in all of college hoops. Herb Jones, Jahvon Quinerly, and Jaden Shackleford will be too much. What makes Alabama scary is that John Petty hasn’t got going yet but when he does, watch out! This might be Perry’s game. Roll tide.

Oregon is the more athletic team from top to bottom. Chris Duarte is an emerging NBA prospect with his terrific space creating scoring. Amauri Hardy could be the spark for the Ducks, so watch out for him. Oregon’s #7 seed isn’t a reflection of how good they truly are. USC has been playing great ball as of late but I think the USC train stops here. I’m going with Oregon.
