With five game-weeks already in the books, the new English Premier League season is beginning to take shape and there are some great matchups on Saturday.

The schedule starts with the all-Merseyside tie between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park, where Frank Lampard’s home team is looking for its first win of the campaign. Everton’s arch-rivals started poorly but bounced back with a 9-0 thumping of Bournemouth last week and a win over big-spending Newcastle on Wednesday.

It’s derby day in London too as Chelsea take on West Ham at Stamford Bridge while new boys Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth go head-to-head at the City Ground. All eyes will then be on Manchester City’s star striker Erling Haaland, who will be aiming for a third hat-trick in a row when his team visits Aston Villa.

We have picked out a four-game parlay to hopefully see you successfully through Saturday, that pays xxx

Liverpool win to nil (+136)

West Ham or tie (+150)

Nottingham Forest ML (+100)

Manchester City win to nil (+139)

Parlay odds: +2740

Liverpool to win to nil over Everton (+136), 7:30 am ET

This is a massive game for Everton manager Frank Lampard, as it has been a disappointing start to the season and this is the first in a run of tough games for the Toffees. His team is still looking for its first win of the season and he may have wished Liverpool were visiting a week ago when the Reds were having a tough time themselves.

A 9-0 win over Bournemouth and a last-minute victory against Newcastle have lifted the mood at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp’s team has not conceded in six of its last 11 visits to Goodison Park.

Anthony Gordon scored a fine goal in Everton’s midweek 1-1 draw at Leeds, but the team is struggling to create chances.

The win over the Cherries has been the only match when Liverpool has not conceded this season, but they should take the Merseyside spoils with relative ease.

West Ham or tie double chance over Chelsea (+150), 10:00 am ET

Chelsea is another team that has had a mixed start to the season and West Ham could claim a positive result when the Hammers visit Stamford Bridge.

The Blues beat struggling Leicester when playing most of the game with 10 men, but they have displayed their shortcomings in recent defeats to Leeds and Southampton, where they lost 2-1 on Tuesday.

David Moyes’s side, meanwhile, looks to have found its feet after a shaky start. A 1-0 victory at Aston Villa last Sunday set the ball rolling and they could consider themselves unfortunate not to have taken 3 more points from a 1-1 draw with another London team, Tottenham, on Wednesday.

Chelsea have won just 2 of their last 8 meetings with West Ham and Thomas Tuchel could be in for another frustrating afternoon.

Nottingham Forest ML over Bournemouth (+100), 10:00 am ET

Both of these teams came into the Premier League this summer and have taken 4 points from their opening five games, but it is Forest that has had the better start.

Bournemouth has had tough fixtures, losing heavily to Manchester City and Arsenal before a 9-0 thrashing at Anfield, and the club has already fired manager Scott Parker. A 0-0 draw against Wolves on Wednesday stopped the flood but they face a difficult game at Forest.

While they lost 6-0 at City on Wednesday, Forest beat West Ham on their own patch and although a visit from Tottenham ended in a 2-0 loss, there was enough to suggest Steve Cooper’s team can have a good season and claim 3 points against the Cherries.

Manchester City to win to nil over Aston Villa (+139), 12:30 pm ET

Aston Villa have claimed one victory so far this season and face a massive task against rampant Manchester City in the afternoon game on Saturday.

Steven Gerrard’s side is not creating a great number of opportunities and they could be overpowered by Premier League favorites Manchester City.

The champions have dropped just two points this season and have a striker in Erling Haaland who has scored hat-tricks in consecutive games against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest. The City defense should also hold firm so expect Pep Guardiola’s team to leave Villa Park with both a win and a clean sheet.
