The story is a much different one for the Philadelphia Eagles, who own the NFL’s best record at 9-1 heading into Sunday Night Football in Week 12.

Green Bay Packers vs Philadelphia Eagles expert picks
We have 2 NFL picks for this week’s clash between Green Bay and Philadelphia. Let’s take a look.
Against the spread pick: Eagles -6.5 (-110) over Packers
Winning out certainly won’t be easy for the Packers, not only due to their own issues but also because of the schedule. On Sunday night they have to face the best team in the league – at least according to the standings. The Eagles may have cooled off in recent weeks — losing to Washington and barely beating Indianapolis — but 9-1 is 9-1. Jalen Hurts is playing at an MVP level, he has plenty of weapons around him and the defense is remarkably consistent.
Now, back to Green Bay’s issues…. Rookie WR Christian Watson has come on strong of late, but Aaron Rodgers still lacks weapons and he is also dealing with a right-thumb issue. Speaking of injuries, receiver Romeo Doubs is out, linebacker De’Vondre Campbell is doubtful and offensive tackle David Bakhtiari is questionable. Beating a far superior team on the road is already tough enough even at full strength. The Packers seemed to save their season with an upset of the Cowboys only to revert right back to their previous ways and lose at home to Tennessee 27-17 in Week 11. I’m not sure they can recover from that performance in time to be competitive with an opponent like Philly. The Eagles have won by at least 8 points in every home game — including over the Vikings and Cowboys – aside from the Washington blemish.

Over/Under totals pick: Under 46.5 (-110)
The Eagles have allowed between 13 and 21 points in 6 of their last 7 games (the 1 exception was the setback against the Commanders). They have given up between 17 and 21 in 5 of their last 7. So you basically know what you are going to get from them, especially against a middle-of-the road offense like that of the Packers. As for Philadelphia’s offense, it has taken a turn for the worse in recent weeks. It is not bad, to be sure, but it is by no means a juggernaut.
The under is 4-1 in the Packers’ last 5 on the road and 8-3 in the Eagles’ last 11 at home against opponents with losing road records. It is also 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between the 2 teams and 5-0 in Green Bay’s last 5 trips to Philadelphia.
