This NBA season has been the most entertaining in recent memory and you can feel the changing of the guard towards the younger generation. The In-Season Tournament is slowly starting to grow with the current players and we’re seeing more competitive games as a result. There are always a few blowouts every night, but this season has a different feel to it. As always, Wednesday is one of the biggest slates of the week and we have quality matchups on the docket: Celtics vs 76ers is looking like an ECF preview and the Timberwolves vs Suns could be another Western Conference playoff preview. Let’s dive into my favorite NBA prop bets of the night, and make sure you also read our NBA predictions for each of today’s 8 games.

De’Aaron Fox (SAC) over 26.5 points (-111)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

I was shocked seeing Fox’s line this low considering he’s not on a minutes restriction. He came back on Monday to nearly 36 minutes right out of the gate, averaging 0.85 points per minute this season. At 26.5 he would need to see only 32 minutes for this number to become in reach. Fox is playing a Lakers team on a back-to-back and has shown scoring success against this roster. In 2022-2023, Fox posted scoring figures of 31, 34, 22 and 32. Barring a blowout right out of the gate, this should be a good spot for the Kings to continue their 3-game win streak. 1U

Max Strus (CLE) over 18.5 points + rebounds (-110)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Cavaliers will be missing Darius Garland and Isaac Okoro once again, giving Strus another minutes boost in the backcourt. He’s averaging 20.3 points and rebounds on the season or 0.58 P+R per minute. Tonight, I have him projected at another 35 minutes against a Trail Blazers team that is struggling. I have Strus projected at 20 P+R tonight as Jarrett Allen should be battling with Deandre Ayton in the post. The Blazers are scrambling without Scoot, Simons and Brogdon in the backcourt, leading to an above-average amount of three-point attempts for this squad. They attempted 35 and 37 threes in the last two games, which is well above their season average of 32. These long shots should result in longer rebounds, which gives Strus an opportunity to grab a few more than usual. 1U

We’re looking to cash our 2nd NBA mega parlay in a row tonight (+792 odds!)

Dereck Lively (DAL) over 15.5 points + rebounds (-120)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Lively has been stellar in his rookie season, averaging 0.63 P+R per minute of play despite only averaging 24 minutes. Tonight’s matchup against the Wizards is a dream for him: Washington is bottom 3 in the league in defensive field goal efficiency at the rim while also being bottom 10 in FGA at the rim. You can play Lively’s point total (8.5) alone and still feel good about it, but the rebounds are just as attractive since the Wizards are dead last in opponent total rebounds per game. His double-double prop is also worth a few dollars at +550 tonight. 1U
