The 2021 MLB season kicked off almost two months ago now, and the action has been jam-packed. Why not celebrate the new week by going for a big payday on Tuesday? That’s right, we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout just north of 16/1, where we’re counting on the Dodgers to win big.

We’ve been cashing these left and right. We cashed our MLB mega parlay on Wednesday at +1488 odds and also cashed our MLB mega parlay the Wednesday before at +1618 odds. Let’s do it again here on Tuesday.

We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form to start the season.

Washington Nationals -1.5 (+130)

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+130)

St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+215)

Parlay odds: +1646

Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Washington Nationals -1.5 (+130)

The Nationals have a big edge on the mound here, and the Reds are in free-fall. Cincy starter Tyler Mahle got off to a red-hot start, but given his track record I was pretty sure it was fraudulent. Recently, that expected regression has started to hit. Mahle has given up at least seven hits in three of his past four starts, and has given up at least six earned runs in two of those.

Last time out he gave up seven in only two innings against the Giants, in a game the Reds lost 19-4. Cincinnati’s offense has cooled as well, and they’ve lost six of their last seven games. The Nats will start Max Scherzer, who is in the midst of another fantastic season. He has a 2.24 ERA and impressive 0.85 WHIP. In six of his past eight starts, he’s given up one or zero runs.

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+130)

The Dodgers have had this game against the Astros circled on their calendars for a long time. To say there’s bad blood between these teams would be an understatement. Los Angeles wants to win this one badly, and they’re on fire right now. After a surprising couple weeks of struggles, the Dodgers have now won 11 of their last 12 games.

Clayton Kershaw will start here, and he’s eager to stick it to the team that embarrassed him back in that infamous World Series. Zack Greinke has struggled against some of these Dodgers hitters, who have a lifetime .864 OPS against him. Mookie Betts has three home runs in only five at bats against him. The Astros just got swept by the lowly Rangers, so they’re slumping entering this one.

St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+215)

To wrap this mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the Cardinals. I’m not sure why St. Louis is a sizable underdog here considering Jack Flaherty has been much better than White Sox starter Lucas Giolito. Flaherty is having a great season, and has only given up two total runs across his last three starts.

Incredibly, the Cardinals have won each of his nine starts this season. Each of those nine wins have come by multiple runs, and plenty have been lopsided. Giolito has been middling with a 4.35 ERA, and that’s despite facing a lot of weak lineups. Six of his nine starts have come against the Royals (twice), Indians (twice), Tigers, and Mariners, so he really doesn’t have an excuse for his underachieving.
