About Last Night

Knicks vs Heat SGP cashes at +608 odds
The Knicks fought back to tie up their series with the Heat with a 111-105 win last night, cashing our +608 odds Same Game Parlay in the process. In the later game, the Lakers struck first against the Warriors, winning 117-112 on the road in Game 1. Germantas Kneita went 3-1 with Tuesday’s NBA player props.

Sweep for road teams in the NHL
Home-ice advantage didn’t count for a lot in the NHL last night as both road teams won the first games of their series. The Panthers won 4-2 in Toronto against the Maple Leafs in their Game 1 before the Kraken won 5-4 in overtime against the Stars after winning a wild first period 4-2. Joe Pavelski scored all 4 goals in the game for Dallas.

2-0 day on MLB Best Bets
The Pickswise team went 2-0 with our 3-star plays on Tuesday’s MLB slate thanks to the Orioles covering the run line in an 11-7 win over the Royals and the Angels (+110) beating the Cardinals 5-1. We also went 2-0 with our YRFI/NRFI best bets and 2-1 on MLB props.

Today’s Slate

All eyes on the Celtics
The pressure is on the Celtics in the NBA playoffs tonight after they lost Game 1 at home to the 76ers. They get a chance to tie up the series at 8:00 pm ET on TNT. You can read today’s NBA predictions.

Two more series start in the NHL
There are 2 Game 1s in the NHL tonight, starting with Devils vs Hurricanes at 7:00 pm ET on ESPN, with Oilers vs Golden Knights following at 9:30 pm ET on ESPN. We have NHL picks for both games.

Another 16 MLB games today
There are 16 MLB games coming our way today, starting early with the first game of a Mets vs Tigers doubleheader at 1:40 pm ET, while the evening slate includes Guardians vs Yankees on Amazon at 7:05 pm ET. Read our MLB predictions. There is also another big game in the EPL today and we have soccer picks for Manchester City vs West Ham at 3:00 pm ET on USA Network.

Best Bet of the Day

NHL: New Jersey Devils vs Carolina Hurricanes Under 5.5
7:00 pm ET, ESPN

The Devils completely shut down the Rangers after the first 2 games of their series, as New York managed to score just 7 goals in the next 5 games. New Jersey’s defensive play is strong, and even if they lose this game, they should be able to limit Carolina’s scoring. The Hurricanes have a physical style of play that they have succeeded with for years and which results in low-scoring games. That was highlighted when they held the Islanders to 15 goals in 6 games. Read our full Devils vs Hurricanes predictions.

You can bet on this Devils vs Hurricanes pick over at Caesars, which has a great sign-up offer where you can get up to $1,250 back on your first bet! Click here to sign up for Caesars right now.
