Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another super Sunday of sports. We have everything you need to enhance your enjoyment of today’s NFL Week 12 games, plus the action in the NBA, NHL, soccer World Cup and college basketball, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better.

About Last Night

Huge win for Wolverines
The college football playoff picture was shaken up on Saturday thanks in large part to Michigan’s 45-23 road win at Ohio State as a 7.5-point underdog. With #5 LSU losing 38-23 to Texas A&M, USC may have forced its way into the top 4 with a 38-27 win over Notre Dame. Oregon State’s big rivalry win over Oregon was no surprise to Caleb Wilfinger, who went 3-0 with his CFB Best Bets article. FanDuel Sportsbook now has Georgia at -175 odds for the National Championship, with Michigan at +300.

Suns silence the Jazz
There were only 4 games in the NBA on Saturday but no shortage of drama, as the Suns beat the Jazz by a single point, the Lakers and Spurs didn’t play much defense in a 143-138 LA win and the Rockets got just their 5th win of the season over the Thunder.

Nice day on the ice
The Pickswise NHL team went 5-2-1 on the Saturday slate, cashing our best bet of the Avalanche ML as they beat the Stars 4-1. The upset of the day came in the last game as the Canucks beat the Golden Knights 5-1.

3-1 day at the World Cup
It was a strong Saturday for our World Cup soccer picks as we went 3-1 including wins at +220 odds on under 1.5 goals in Tunisia vs Australia and +150 on Argentina winning with a shutout against Mexico.

Best Bet of the Day

NFL: Seattle Seahawks -3.5 over Las Vegas Raiders
4:05 pm ET, CBS

Seattle is coming off a bye, so their weapons are all well-rested. RB Kenneth Walker has been a revelation and QB Geno Smith is playing way ahead of expectations. The Raiders rank 22nd in DVOA against the run, so Walker should have little to no trouble finding the holes, and they rank dead-last against the pass, so the combination of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and even Noah Fant could be explosive. The Seahawks are 3-1 against the spread at home this season. Check out our full Raiders vs Seahawks predictions.

Stat of the Day

The Falcons have lost their last 10 games against teams with winning records.

Quote of the Day

“I certainly know what this game means to everybody, so when you lose, it all comes back to me, I’m the head coach. That’s what probably hurts the most.”

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day was making no excuses after his team’s loss to Michigan.
